with Oakland in general and the Oakland Raiders in particular! I watched today as a onece proud ,dynamic team got totally taken apart by the Packers.
And in the 4th quarter when the games outcome was already decieded...who does Lane Kiffen have in at QB....the 4th stringer Andrew Walter!!!! what is the problem putting in Jamarcus Russell and giving him playing time ?
The problem in Oakland is not the players.......its not having a a head coad for more than 1 or 2 seasons! There needs to be a central figure who the rest of the organization can respect ...but no one wants to coach the Raiders because of
supposedly the head man there.ok...i've vented my anger

No offense intended, but Oakland's demise is a sweet thing to see.....they haven't been the same since the incomparable John Madden left...
But hey, it could be worse....you could be a Miami fan!!!

The problem with Oakland today ultra is a place called Lambeau and their facing the best quarterback to ever hit the field. 
Injured a week ago and went 15-of-23 passes for 266 yards with two touchdowns.

I dunno-I get the feeling that the Fins will at least re-attain respectibility long before the Raiders...somebody, please: do an intervention and tell GraMpa Al that it's time to put on fuzzu slippers and a robe and head over to Shady Acres...

The problem with Oakland is that they need to get rid of their owner Al Davis. Granted the guy has done a lot for pro football. But he's living in the past and holding them back. The Raiders haven't had a winning season since they went to the Super Bowl in the 2002 season. Al Davis says he won't retire until the Raiders win 2 super bowls which is when hell will freeze over.

It wouldn't surprise me if Al Davis were the first to offer Mike Vick a contract as soon as he gets out of prison in 2009. He seems like the type to do that. I don't see the Raiders going anywhere in that time frame. Al Davis is so delusional and devoid of reality. He needs to get his head out of his ass or retire which I know it won't happen in the foreseeable future.

It goes to show you that Al" I won't retire until the Raiders win 2 more Super Bowls" Davis is out of touch and is living in another planet. The guy's living in the past and have no sense of reality. No wonder the Raiders are the laughing stock of the NFL and are in the realm of mediocrity and irrelevancy. They even hired a guy to be an offeensive coordinator, Tom Welsh I believe, that used to run a bed & breakfast b/f he was canned by Davis. Kane won't resign until he's fired by Davis.

If Lane Kiffin gets fired right now, he'll be fielding job offers before he goes to bed. Everyone outside of Oakland, and most within the organization, realize who is responsible for the mess they are in.
