One time worlds fastest female athlete Marion Jones was sentenced to 6 months in a federal prison for lying to the government and for her part in passing bad checks.The woman begged the jugde to make her punishment as leinant as
possible so she could raise her young sons.... she oughta grow up and realize that once the guily verdict came down her life and her familys would never be the same.We once cheered giddily for Marion and her track feats in the Olympics...but this fall from grace was her own fault!

Posts: 1,804 I heard this on the radio and could think only of how the REAL winner has been deprived of the honour and adulation for her accomplishment, not to mention the financial accolades that are an inherent part of Olympian accomplishment.

Just desserts - for a stolen meal!
