I'd play baseball w/ the kids on the block every night after supper when the weather permitted...just never got into football.
Here's football in Pam talk...
Two teams. One trying to get to one end.
One trying to get to the other end.
Ass slapping, spandex pants, falling, grunting,
and five minutes football time equals five minutes Pam time.
The end.

PAM....
When I was a kid, we had a game in the vacant lot next door every evening. I think that's why I love baseball the most. I still play softball a couple of nights a week. And, I get to shag fly balls during batting practice for the college team I do play by play for.

Me too! Playing with the same kids since the age of two, they became like brothers and sisters.
I could never understand when the oldest boy became a baseball star at school and all the girls were wild about him. To me, he was just the kid next door who always had a runny nose and a crusty upper lip.
Ahh...sweet memories...fun times.
