 Sheesh, the Tigs just survived bases loaded, 1 out in the seventh against the mighty Yankees (score is 6 - 5, Yanks on top). Well, if we lose that will be four straight against them. Guess the Tigers are still not able to play with the big boys just yet.

Tigers just tied it up in the bottom of the 9th. Maroth is out till the end of July and that's going to hurt.
And the Tigers win it.

Spongy, a coworker was at the game Thursday night (7 - 6 Tiger win) at Comerica Park (it's only about 15 minutes from where I work)....said it was awesome.

Fridays game was a good game for a loss. Tigers held the lead till a two run homer in the 9th. However the White Sox lost so the Tigers are still in the lead.

Take me out to the Ballgame!!!!!
Tomorrow I am going to watch the Dodgers and the Giants in San Fransisco!!!!
Not a fan of either one really, that is what is going to make it so much fun.
Oh then we go Sunday back to S.F. to watch the Giants and the A's. There I will rooy for the A's. Tried to get tickets for the Indians and the A's, but the decent seats were gone.

Hm, but can they still do it after the All-star game? This seems to be the breaking point for a lot of teams.
It happens every year to some team. They are going strong, at the top of their league and boom! After the All-Starr game it's like they went home and forgot to come back.
Of course, we know the tigers won't be like huh?

That's the way the Tigers have been in recent years but they haven't been anywhere near this good going into the break. I don't think Jim Leyland will allow it.
BTW, they're leading tonight already too.

Just be glad the Brewers are playing em better than the Cubs. What the Tigers did to them should be considered assault and battery.
