Baseball is always cool when you get free tickets. I usually get free tickets to hockey, ML baseball, and NBA basketball as a thank you bonus for some of my electrical work. Anyway I'm off to see another Mariner's game this week. I bought a new ball cap because the sun was in my eyes for a while last time.

Tigers won 2 of 3 in the series against the White Sox putting the Sox 5.5 games behind. Joel Zumaya's 100 mph + fastball made the best Sox batters look like little leaguers.
Bring on Oakland.

Zumaya's fastball at 102 was a blur today. His curve was on the mark also...
And how old is he?

The Tigers have pulled ahead to a 6.5 game lead over the White Sox. They're finally getting some respect in the media as well. Todays game has been moved up to a day game so it can get national TV coverage.
Also, Dimitri young has returned to provide the much needed powerfull left handed bat.

I don't know but it happens to the best of them. As poorly as the Tigers did last year I saw them take a 9 run inning from Randy Johnson. The Tigers did have 3 games in a row with 5 or more runs in the 1st inning.
With their win today they have an 8 game lead over the White Sox.

The Twins have been tough in fact even the Royals have pulled out of their slump. They're too far back to be much of a threat but they've definitely improved.

Would anyone like to buy the Cleveland Indians? Another typical season for us Cleveland fans. How much more can we take! And now we're getting ready for football season. It's gotten off to a great start already. Thank god for Lebron James!!

The Tigers should have taked all 3 games but Bonderman crashed and buned in the 7th inning of game 3. The new guy they brought up from the minors hit a nice double and drove in a run.
I don't know much about Sean Casey but he's starting tonight, He sounds like a hitter.
