I never thought I'd say this, but I actually am enjoying being older. I feel so much calmer and more relaxed. I don't feel the constant sexual tension anymore, so I can relate to women as people instead of constantly thinking about how to get them in bed. I can't wait till I can retire and really have some fun!

I don't know if I can say that I'm GLAD to be over fifty.... but I can certainly say that it's not bad at all being my age. I've always said..... you're as young as you feel and act.... and honestly, sometimes I still act and feel like a teenager! Ask my son! He'll vouch for that (much to his dismay!)

I'm not jumping up and down doing cartwheels over it but now after being 50 I really dont feel it.Fifty was always that number you didnt want to hit,face it,its an old number but after hitting it suddenly its not anymore.
Thats the joy of getting older,of course you are but you damn sure dont feel it.
Yea,my bones start creaking in the morning,I get out of my truck after a long day working and hobble a bit for a minute but I just smile to myself and thank the good Lord I can still do just that.
Yea,I'm so glad myself.It sure beats the alternative.

So far fifty is working out for me, no complaints at all . Its a milestone to reach this age and it appears I am in good company.

Well, as some have expressed, I am not excited about being middle age (although I'm not sure that I'm going to live to be 108, so this might not be exactly "middle age"...   ), but I am grateful that I have learned some valuable lessons that have helped me find peace. I like who I am and who the person is that I am continuing to evolve into.
And think of all of the baby boomers out there....safety in numbers, huh?...lol.
