My bf likes them on me, but....he thinks they are not to be worn in public when a woman gets older, except of course to the beach lol. Any opinions on this one?

Nothing wrong with a mini skirt. I have liked them and always will. DOesn;t matter about your age. If you feel you look good in it, go ahead just don't do it cause he wants you to.

..Thinking it would depend on how adament the BF is and how much you respect his opinion and your relationship. Are you dressing for him or dressing to impress the rest?

I personally would not feel comfortable wearing short skirts in public.
Age appropriate dress can still be very sexy

what ? I work at goodwill and see ALOT of woman in there 50's wearing skirts . some TRY to look like they are in there 30's yet . so , that is mistook . hey those 30 year olds have nothing on the 50 crowd . I have seen some 50's wear a bikine when dropping stuff off . and some of those 50's are dam good looking  . I love my job for that reason mostly
