Well girl, I can tell you that they certainly are not near ME.....I don't even want to mention the size of my phone bill last month.
Did YOU know that there are HEFTY charges for cellphone use between US and Canada....Well, I DO.....NOW !
Was he worth it? Who knows...hasn't logged on for a month. Wish I knew if it was because he was on vacation?

Yep.....same here...SIGNME....there are a few near me....very interested....but am staying clear. One is nearly 70....the other is over 70....and the other is almost there.....LOL. And all 3 live near me........but I just couldnt.........they are waaaaaay too old for me. Have old fashioned ideas and are too goodie goodie for me......and dont have a forward spirit......its almost like they are waiting to die....and want a companion to look after them. Seems like all their adventures have ended almost.....all except for one who likes to travel occasionally. But not a fun or happy type of person....just cracks a smile now and then. My spirit would die around someone like that.......LOL

No wonder it takes me so long to get through all these posts. Every time someone mentions younger or older, having no idea of their age, I gotta go into their profile and find out.
There are stages in life where I can agree completely with the posters...for THEIR stage. BUT, when ya get to MY stage...I'm gonna be 72 next month...almost all men who are even THINKING about dating, are YOUNGER.
I've said before, I believe that by the time a man reaches 50, he's as ":Mature" as he's gonna get. So, I've had some enjoyable dates with Mature 50s. I find that many 60s are set in their ways, and have no intentions of being "flexible". My experience has been that many 70s don't dance anymore, can't stay awake past 9pm, don't drive at night anymore, have bad backs, hips and their knees don't work. Heaven only knows what else doesn't work 
I had a luncheon date with an 83 year old last month...OMG, it was like going out with my FATHER. It isn't that I haven't tried....But, I'll go for "Younger" at this point...mature, younger over 50s, that is.... And ya know what....if they want to call me a cougar....so be it...It beats staying home and knitting!
Just my thoughts,

 As long as they make me laugh......... 
Yes knitten..........cellphone omgoodness............the charges for cellphone out of country  ................I have quite a few on my phone..........very very expensive...........   could make you cry  ......but........I won't............life is way too short for that.....

I have not gone out with anyone that was 80.....................as of yet  ..........some of my friends dads.........but........that doesn't mean anything........and some of my friends dads have asked me out..........  but...........ummm.......I still say age is just a number.....young or old ........

I still say age is just a number.....young or old ...... Well, shoot, Mystery... Here I haven't made a pass at you because on your profile you said you were looking for someone between the ages of 29-46!  (Of course, there was that whole 5' 11" to 6' 4" thing, too.. )

If you are going to do much international calling, you really need to look into using VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol). Companies like Vonage can save you a lot of money.

Thanks, say....I'll look into it when I get back from my vacation. I'm headed out in about an hour...flying to Sweden this morning...also visiting Denmark and Norway. Can't use my phone over there, but, don't think I'll need it...Traveled all over the world for 40 years before they even had them.

Younger...older...doesnt matter the age....It has do do with their personality...are they fun...spontaneous..willing to step out of the box....live life...young at heart..in shape...responsible yet not overworking...and definately..not overindulging in alcohol or drugs. jmo

As for the original topic... Depends on how much younger and what their level of matureity is... so far I havent found much matureity in MD. ( Oh heck, yes there are a few but their far and few between)
