Do you put pressure on yourself to do something special on New Year's Eve or do you prefer to go to bed at 9:00 and sleep through it?

banging pots or whatever at midnight!!!!!

Doxie will be on Fremont Street in Vegas, having (hopefully) won enough money to come back home, quit my job, drive my new Mercedes to Cabo, and pay the cabana boy for a lifetime of fresh towels and Pina Coladas.

Thought my brother was going to be here from AZ, but he had an offer to go to Mexico for Christmas then Vegas fot the New Yea. The s***. Maybe you will run into him Doxie

Well, normally I just sleep thru it, but an acquaintance is having a party that I think may be interesting...we're all compulsive dancers, so if nothing else, I'll be able to dance the night away! No couples, it's just whoever shows up...and if it's just the girls, we all know how to both lead and follow...

i dont know. maybe i'll find a new year's eve party 2 crash since i live close 2 the capitol. i'll probably spend it at home, dreaming of the new year's eve i'll never experience with my black-eyed peas n cornbread.

i used to dress to the nines....cigarette case, silver shoes..the dress to die for....now that i live in the tropics nothing...zip, nada. no partner anymore and no new love in the limelight....new years day i still make a prime rib and have asti spumate...yep....i'll be sawing logs...darn it.

I have an annual New Years tradition I will probably continue. I think of every possible resolution I can make. Then spend New Years Day breaking them. That way the pressure is off for the rest of the year.

I had a date last year, but he owned a cab company so we couldn't go out until 3 a.m., LOL!
This year, nothing planned yet, but hope springs eternal! I can always go out with my best friend and her family, but they all turn into pumpkins about 10:00 p.m.

I sleep through it. Nothing is worse than spending time with drunk people and crowds. I did that twice. I'd rather just have a glass of wine at 10p and go to bed wake up and watch the rose parade. I watch the FL one New Years Eve. The most enjoyable thing that I ever did was go to the Pittsburgh Zoo one year when I lived in the city. Its great to have all the attention of the animals they are quite comic.
