Being relatively new to this site, I’m sure this has been done before, but can’t find it.

What’s with these women who want an “ honest”man

You ladies never lie????????

How many have their true age up here
The number one thing that a woman lies about is her age.
Then her hair colour.. ..
Then…. Nope won’t go there.

So what do you mean by HONEST???????

And you all want a someone with a “sense of humour

Who really seriously admits to not having one?
Well if you don’t understand this post… and my profile.. !!!!!!!!!

Maybe what makes you grin isn’t like that that gets me giggling,.. but you still have one.. don’t you???? Do you????

Crafty way to get you to look me up.

So what do you mean by SENSE OF HUMOUR????

OK I spell the British way.. it upsets the computer spellchecker.
I don’t like inanimate objects to be in charge of my life

And as I’m in the PNW.. what is all this HIKING??????

Do you really throw on your shorts, pull on your rucksacks and big clumpy boots. and go trudging up Mt. Ranier.
Or do you mean walks in the park?

And Kayaking?????

I put this in the over 50.. because I like women with a little experience, some life tracks and of course...
Who are Honest and have a Sense of Humour
Please explain or am I

Can`t very well say we want a liar now can we..

Heres what I put in my profile..I won`t say I`m HONEST because I probably won`t be believed...My age is correct..I just had a birthday..my hair color is correct..oh...with a few gray thrown in...
I admit I have told a white lie or two in my time..but not down right lying...
I don`t claim to be any thing other then what I am..and if someone chooses not to believe me that is their right..and their loss..

No, you silly, never! I'm surprised you felt the need to ask.

How many have their true age up here
I can only speak for myself, but if I'm gonna lie about my age I'm NOT gonna be 62!

Then her hair colour.. Yeah, you know we can only lie about that for so long.

So what do you mean by SENSE OF HUMOUR????
You know, can laugh at yourself not just others.

I smiled when I read this, for it came as quite a shock to me when I first found out that not all are truthful on these dating sites. It never occured to me to lie when I was filling out my profile, although I winced a bit as I truthfully answered some of the questions. And, yes, the truthful answers, I believe, reduce the number of responses one gets.

Just as in real life, I think the people on this and other dating sites reflect the general population. Some are liars, but some are painfully honest. Some are looking for a one-nighter or cybersex, but others are looking for that best friend and soulmate. Some are happy to just play online, while others are truly looking for a "date".

Many of the disagreements and debates on these forums seem to begin when someone tries to generalize about women, men, age groups, or some other category. I think we need to seek out those who appeal to us individually, and just ignore those who have different goals and values. If all women shared the same attributes, and if all men were looking for the same thing, we could just let MatchDoctor randomly assign us to one another!

I've enjoyed much of what has been written and discussed on these forums, and I appreciate those who have taken the time and effort to write.

Ah darlin', how could you possibly not believe all of us women?

Actually, my only lies have been of omission,. Since truth is stranger than fiction, I didn't want to strain anyone's credulity. Too bad I'm plumper than you seem to be interested in (yep, told the truth)...I was a physics major, and my primary interest was in genetics. At that point that was the best path to getting into medical school.

Ah, but hair color...I keep forgetting to change it to match the current shade...I was a redhead when I first joined, let it grow out to salt and pepper, and it's currently honey blonde. Sense of humor? Usually just wisecracks....wanna go kayaking and find out?

BTW, I AM 50, I dye my hair (natural color) to cover the gray, I am overweight, and by honest I mean someone who's basically straight with me, and by humourous, I mean anyone who can make me laugh and I really do appreciate many different types of humour.

I didn't lie about anything. I expect the guys to do the same. Some send or post a picture that you can tell by the clothing, they are over 10 years old. The worst thing I think someone would lie about is being married. That would really tick me off!! I like to think the best of people and think everyone is telling me the truth.
My hair isn't my "true" hair color- gotta cover that grey, but that's a vanity thing I do for me.I don't hike- mainly because I'm scared of snakes, and also I have a broken ankle. I'm more of a summer person. Kayaking scares the cr@p outta me- tried it once. I'd rather float the Boise river with a 6 pack and a sandwich. I don't lie about my weight, either. But I dated a guy once that said NORMAL weight and when he picked me up- let's put it nicely, I think he lived on Big Mac's. His picture was old!

So that means we WILL get the grassy knoll resolved.. not to mention WMD's....
and true age, weight and the label off the hair dye bottle.

The jacket might be 10 years old, but the photo...only a week.
The jacket almost ready for the Goodwill box.. but it carries fond memories plus many a spilled drink stain. and the faint whiff of a long distant perfume on the left shoulder....

Whatca want? me to dress up for a bulletin board?
Barely do that to go out to dinner these days.
well depends........

well I really thought that , that was obvious from my opening post.
Your profile doesn't... but the majority do.. ask for an HONEST man with a SENSE OF HUMOUR..

take that you spellchecker.

Seems bizarre to me

OK I've 22 wives.. I'm not a morman did have a couple of good nights.. followed by a GOOD NIGHT in Salt lake though

Maybe my religion is just a Madman... 22 wives.. hey as I said above... sucker for a pretty face.
Seriously I know what you ladies mean by an "Honest Man"
But c'mon this is the internet...
Do you really want to know what guys have to put up with in the search for a Fair Maiden???????I'll direct you to a site....
AH but we should be honest......

But the point is So What?..people will write regardless
Women never Lie.. only Men do.
and dammit.. if you can't at least get a smile out of this..
you have no sense of humour

just don't hike!!!!!!!!!

And as for a sense of humour

Well let me tell you this joke........
