I don't understand what you're asking. Dating is dating, if you're not open to interracial dating, you can indicate it on your profile. If you have no preferences listed, it would indicate that you're open to it. Or on the other hand, if you're only interested in interracial dating you can indicate that too...and no, I'm not afraid of the subject in the least, and doubt that anyone else around here is either.

Heaven said pretty much what I was thinking when I saw your other post on the subject. I wasn't exactly sure what you were asking, either. Being Caucasian and a woman, I wasn't interested in dating you 
In this day and age, I'm not sure most people directly make it a specific point to "interacial date"...I think they're more likely to be attracted to the PERSON/personality, first -- If they happen to be of different races, they deal with it just the same way they'd deal with any part of a relationship (which includes physical attraction)...there might not be a THING to "deal with" other than the normal man/woman stuff

I think the question was easy to understand...why all the critisism?!
Interacial dating is fine. In this day and age, it really shouldn't be an issue, but to some it still is. That is something they will have to deal with. Prejudice comes in all shapes and sizes. I have a very multi-cultural family myself and woudn't trade any of them for anything! I say, date a nice person no matter what color they are!

You are right it still is an issue,but not for me...but the people of the older generation still can not see it.I believe we all bleed the same...it is whats on the inside that counts. And I also want to thank you for understanding what I ment...

I'm afraid there are still regions/areas that are totally against interracial dating. I grew up in a small town that was very prejudice and basically still is today. Thank goodness I had a father that wasn't prejudice so I grew up not seeing color. Unfortunately my mother didn't feel the same way . My father used to say how wonderful my mother was (and she was) but she was just too prejudice. As Whozatlaid said and I totally agree, we all bleed the same.
I've since moved from my little hometown so how do I feel about interracial dating? My daughter is in an interracial marriage of 14 years and has two beautiful children that I absolutely love and adore.
I do have to add though - I have a granddaughter that is very bitter that I am as white as a sheet and have long, straight hair - totally oppose of her. I really believe in some areas that children from interracial marriages have a hard time adjusting and fitting in still today. It's sad but true.

I actually resent the classification of Hispanics as a "race" because we can be from any race or a mixture of two or in some countries several, so to me it's just another way the U.S. government puts people in a box. Since I am of mostly caucasian descent myself when I date a "white" man I don't see it as dating outside my "race" BUT if he's American-born or European (not Latin like me) I do think I'm dating outside of my culture.

All humans have the ability to be beautiful, regardless of their race. What turns me on is to see the smiling brown faces of my 2 foster grandsons. I raised them from birth. They are 4 and 5 now and have been adopted by their aunt. They are well adjusted bright boys that have been taught to move within both of their cultures. They are of mixed race and are accepting of everyone. Love knows no color.

I don't think race matters to me, it's how much the person appeals to me.
One thing I do wonder about is when you see an ad where a person is ONLY interested in someone of another race, white female seeks black male for instance, I always wonder why? Is it the way they look, act, what? And how can you expect all people of any race to act, or look alike?

I have to agree. That's kinda a form of prejudice, isn't it? To assume someone will act or look a certain way because of their skin pigmentation?
