Hey UAB...I'm just north of Gadsden. I have spent my share of times at UAB though, used to work down there quite a bit and also went to school there.

My mother, father, and I got our degrees from UAB which I affectionately call "Harvard on 8th Ave".
Is it hot enough for you in Gadsden? TG I work in an AC'd office.

Oh, it is so much more than hot enough for me! My flowers are gonna die...lol The a/c was torn up at work yesterday and it was quite miserable..not to mention the fact that it helped make my clients just a little more grouchy..lol I work with mentally challenged adults, they are preschool minds in adult bodies so they get cranky when it's hot! Oh well, so do I lol. Have a good one in the Ham!

Thanks sunbabie...nice ppl actually respond sometimes! UAB, the clients we have range from mild to severely retarded. Some of them do not retain anything we try and teach them. A couple of them can count, read and do multiplication. Their behavior can be shocking at times! Imagine a full grown man or woman pitching a tantrum like a 2-3 yr old. Have to remember their mental ability is like a 2-6 yr old but they are as strong as you or I. They typically can be mad at the world one minute and hugging you the next telling you they love you. The day is always interesting and you just never know what will happen next. We are taking them bowling this next week so that should be a trip!
And the story goes on...
