So far all the men I've dated here in Arkansas have the,"woman git me a beer,where's my supper,wiggle the eyebrows, come hither I'm horny,Hillbilly mentality. I found "Mr. Right" once,but he took a left on me.

I moved here from Louisiana 30 yrs ago and I think men from anywhere can be less than proper ar times - even myself - I don't mind owning up to a mistake tho.

i would never demand my woman to get me a beer ... i am a man who believes its always 50 /50 in any relationship and what you put into it is what you get out of it..treat ladies with respect and dont treat them like a sex slave or a maid.

Ricky you do not live in Arkansaw .. and the folks in florida say respect is not in your vocabulary. You do not need a woman to be your slave , when you use your children for that.

Well, I may be a woman, but I am living here in Ark. And I must say this..
It's not fair to group all men from Arkansas like that. Hell, I don't think it's the ones from Arkansas, it's just the ones you seem to find. You'll find men like that anywhere...I know of one in Missouri right now..

Born and raised in Arkansas. Don't even drink beer (or any alcohol for that matter). And when you please your woman as much or more than she pleases you...there is no need for the "raise your eyebrow" look...she usually initiates it :) .

I don't even drink Beer, but posts like this make me want to become the kind of disrespectful ass that demands it. Guess I should take the fact that every single woman I've ever dated from this state has cheated on me and lied to me, and treated me like crap out on all the rest. Actually according to what I've seen, the only way to get a good women is to treat them bad. Ah, I love all the stupid dating games.

I am an Arkansas native, born and raised... lived here for 40 of my 44 years, and I am not a "redneck" at all!!
The only two kinds of music that I cannot stand is Country and Western. I do not and will not learn to "Two-step", would rather dance to good 80's or Techno.
I do not dip, chew, watch Nascar or hunt! I would rather throw darts, play pool, see some live music or take in a football game.
I can and do cook my own supper. Will get my own beer or drink.
I respect women greatly and will pleasure and satisfy a lady before myself.
I am not the "good old boy" stereotype! Thank you...

Every man has his good points and maybe some not so good.It is up to the woman to know how to go around the men who would treat her bad.If woman would demand to be treated right then the men who treated women bad would either change or move to the hills and fight each other.
