So you thought France was just ‘playing up’ by not supporting the gulf did you?

Well just go to Google and enter "french military victories" and press ‘I’m feeling lucky’

The truth about France is that the bread, the food, and the wine are absolutely superb, and everybody is average weight for their height, unlike some other countries we can easily point out.

And to their credit, they actually know to leave the beer making to the Germans and Belgians. I for one, love France.

Viva la France!

I tend to like the Napa Vally wines and the Sourdough bread from California.
Or the Aussie wines are pretty good too.

Aw Dev, looks like Google found out about the joke by a Canadian student, and have now added this note:

The French did win some wars. In fact, Google lists about 63,100 pages of French military victories. Hmmm...wasn't there something about 1066?

1066? Is that some kind of code for ‘we surrender’

lol...if you see me as one who's viewed you, just had to check out your "Elvis" pic, devon.

As for French military history, I'd direct any student to the campaigns of a certain person called, ah, Napoleon? He certainly wasn't a slacker...'nuff said.

Yes we (England) have had a ‘love hate’ relationship with France for hundreds of years, sometimes ‘we’ won. Sometimes not!

Ok they had the wind in their favour in 1066, but we got them back at waterloo. Old napoleon might have put the breeze up the Russians but we kicked his ass good!

Devon, geeez, you need to go hit the pub and get an ale.
If I were close enough, I'd buy you a pint. Cheers!

I hate France and I am sick and tired of them trying to take credit for the French Fry. The following is a list for anyone else who hates France and is interested in boycotting this country with Waiting:
Air France
Baccarat
Bic
Bollinger
Cartier
Clarins
Dom Perignon
Evian
Hennessey
Grey Goose Vodka
Mephisto
Moet
Peugeot
Renault
Veuve Clicquot
Seagrams/Wild Turkey/Pernod-Ricard
Yves Rocher

I just came from my mom's house where she presented me with a nice bottle of French wine. I'll start my boycott after I've finished it. I prefer Californian... but what the hell...

As most of the population of England is divided up between Celtic, Ingles, Saxons and Normans(ie, Northmen, aka Vikings) I find it highly amusing that seemingly many people who profess to hate the French are more than likely to be of Celtic heritage as what is today France was where most of the Celtic tribes came from before crossing the channel; before that, they had migrated down from what is Germany and further east...the Saxon tribes came from Saxony, in the heart of Germany; the Ingles came from the North Sea and tne Baltic areas of ancient Germany; we all should know from where the Vikings came from; part of France called Normandy still have their decendants there as well as all over England, especially the northern and central parts, not to mention Ireland....to me, if one hates the French, it seems that one hates one's own people; just more petty inter-tribal jealousies again...did someone read 1066 And All That, by mistake...:)
