Post any bugs reports or feedback to this thread.
Some notes:
1. The remember me feature will automatically log you in when returning to the website. It does not "pre fill in" the username and password fields for you. So when returning to the site, you should autmatically be taken to your home page rather than the front door of the site.
2. When you click sign out, you will not be auto logged back in for the rest of that browser session. If you close your browser and/or open a new window and return to the site, you will automatically log in.
3. When you sign out, there is a button to turn auto login off. Clicking that will prevent you from auto logging on in the future.
Please let us know of any changes you think should be made to this system to improve it.

ok not sure if this is a "bug" or if anyone else has this problem, but I have been using the remember me feature, and when I use it I can't get into chat, when I try to load, it tells me I can't be authorized and that I need to re-log in to the site, but when I turn off the remember me feature, or clear my cookies, it works fine. I have tried this 3 times and each time with auto log in, I am unable to get into chat,but as soon as I clear my cookies/disable the auto log in it works fine.

Sorry about this guys!  we will get auto-login working with chat as soon as we can. I'm guessing IM is having problems too.
The temporary fix is to not use the "remember me" feature for now and log in manually like before.

Maybe you fixed the problem already.
I am on WINXPSP2 with Firefox 1.5rc2 and the autologin is working fine and I have used Chat and IM tonight when autologged with no problems.
I did have a random problem for a couple of days yesterday and the day before. Sometimes when I tried to check my mail, I was told I needed to logon again. Was sporadic in nature . . . not reproduceable. Seems to be OK since the new login procedure was put in place.

Are you checking the "remember me" box when you sign in? If you are and still having problems, make sure you're not blocking cookies.

hi M.D. I'm picky,whene i use the favorite link i try to log in to sight have fun of not being recognized ; user name pass word is OK but put into new user window.
Usually whene i use the search engine OK today same thing , new user please regester.
Just wondering whene i will not get into sight at all.

I have no problems signing in with IE or Firefox adding my user name and password when starting from favorites or bookmarks. I have IE 6 under WIN XP SP2 Home.
I see no mention of your problem by anyone else in the forums, so I suspect you may have a unique problem. You may need to supply more detail about your environment to help MD help you.
Have you cleared cache and cookies recently. If not, I would try that. I had a small glitch with this feature in the beginning related to clearing those items.
IE looks clean to me in that area. On Firefox, my user name replaces their username literal; but, in the password field the asterisks overlay the password literal. Looks weird, but works.
I do sometimes have problems using Chat with this feature turned on with IE. I have to sign out and sign in again before using Chat when I use IE. No problems with Chat with Firefox.
