We just launched a new "My Threads" page. To get to it, you'll need to go to the following URL while logged in.

http://www.matchdoctor.com/myThreads.aspx

This page lists out all the threads you're currently "watching". When ever there is a new post since you last looked at the thread, there will be a "new" icon. Please give us your feedback on this new page or any additional features you'd like to see on it :)

Also, taking a survey. Would you want the ability to see a list of users that are watching a thread? Any issues with this? Thanks!

I agree......I want the old My Threads back........ It's way much easier to track them.....besides, some of the older topics are interesting....and you want to refresh them periodically.

Later work calls.

you can still get to the last 50 threads. At the bottom of each post the 'view threads' button will take you there.

Like mdTech said, click on "view threads" in one of your posts.

We're thinking of having a checkbox on the post reply page. By default the checkbox will be checked. If you reply and leave it checked, you will start watching that thread and it will appear on your "My Threads" page. If you uncheck it, it won't be added to your threads page.

Basically any thread you participate in will be added to your threads by default, unless you uncheck the box. This will make it function more like the old "My Threads" page, but you'll be able to remove a thread from the page when you're done following it.

My apologies.

It isn't difficult at all. I just didn't understand how to do it!

You don't need to go to any URL, just simply go to any thread that you have posted on and click view threads at the bottom of any of your posts. It will show you all your threads. So then, no matter where you post, you can again click on show threads on your new post, to get back to all your threads.

It is actually very easy (as most anything is after you know what you are doing)!

I think I am going to like it better than the old way.

Sorry for my previous post about this!

What up DOC. Great job the new beta threads are doing BUT (of course) I have set my options for NO MAIL about posting to MY THREADS but its going to send me 1 no matter what. Well when I come to MD I always check my threads. Sometimes when I get off MD some time later I have 6 or 8 e mails about people posting on my threads.........I know that I was just there.......it just seems to be tooooooo much notification........I have checked no notification but it just has to do it once but if I watch 10 popular threads I get 10 e mails from MD when I go to check e mail......what do you think....can we get a no notification at all about forums?

I like it the old way myself. But it is your site to do with as you wish this may not pertain, but what i would love to see is either html ability or buttons to use ones own font design and size .Earl

You will no longer receive email notifications if you have your forum notifications turned off in your email subscription settings. There was a bug, but it's fixed now.
