As most of you have noticed, there's been some changes in the past week or two. Here's a run down of the changes so you will be aware of them. 
1. New forums = politics, religion, current events, and health & fitness.
2. Thumbnails in forum and thread listings.
3. You can now turn off IM on your home page and it will save the setting. No turning it off each time you log in for those that don't want it enabled.
4. If someone has IM turned off then the IM icon will not be visible on their profile, even if they're online.
5. Sent winks! You can now view winks that you have sent from your winks page. There are tabs at the top to switch between received and sent. note: You can't delete any of your sent winks right now, we will be updating this later to include delete ability.
6. My Threads. We added a link in the drop down menu. This page now displays your "watched threads". You can remove a thread from this page by removing it from your watch list. There will be a new icon for any threads that have new posts since you last viewed that thread. 
7. New site colors!
8. Ability to "roll-up" certain things on the site so they don't take up as much page real-estate when you're not using them.

As usual, MD is going to town.
I like the new forum topics, but what do you think about having one for 'Computers'? Thunderscribe had started the one thread in the 'General Talk' forum, but it keeps getting bumped out of view.

I really like the next and previous on the top and bottom of each page on the forum threads, but I noticed that now when there is a new post to My Threads that to see the new post I have to click on the last page rather than just click on the topic as before. I can get used to the new way, but just wanted to say I like the old way better.

And I'm wondering if Matchdoctor would consider an extra profile tab linking us to individual members' blog comments--just like there's one linking to forum posts.

??? There's already a blog tab...and the little pencil under the picture in a forum post links to that persons blogs.
Not every has a blog, though...that's why their profile doesn't have the blog tab.
(Um, I'm guessing this is what you're asking?? )

No, I'd like to click your profile and see the comments you've posted on other member's blogs. So, if you interested me (not that way--not that there's anything wrong with it, dontchaknow....) I could click the forum tab on your profile and view your last 10 (?) posts. I'd like to be able to do that with blog comments; I'd get more insight into you, and I'd be able to find blogs you find interesting and perhaps follow them myself.
Does that make sense?

Makes sense to me, Jen. I like the idea.
While we are making requests...now that I'm familiar with IM, could we have some kind of an audible tone, when we are IMing back and forth, and the box is minimized? Not too loud. When the box is minimized, I don't realize a message has been typed. I like to go back and forth, from the forum posts, to my IM message.
Do "I" make sense?

Replace these { } with these [ ]. A lot of the font styles aren't working yet. Still practicing.
To add: The {font}{/font} must be the INNER set of brackets.
These have worked for me.

SunBabe (or anyone), Can you tell me again how to add someone's name to a quote, when doing a copy/paste?

When you do a regular quote, just add the person's name, with the "=" sign (manually)
{quote=name}.....

You have become a pro. If it wasn't for you, I would have torn all of my hair out, and it's FINALLY getting long again.  
I have printed out some fonts and colors, and I'm experimenting with both. I'll try to remember to continue to post font styles that work for me, especially if they are out of the norm. I like the "Georgia" one.
Thanks so much for the quote info. I was too lazy to do a thread search.
