When I lived there it was a nice small town. I'm a 1964 Palmdale High Grad. With a pop. of 20,000 to 30,000. Us kids had fun.

When we moved there in the 50's we lived in Lancaster the yards were sand and dirt. As for schools I was going to school at the Fairgrounds. Now you have to many people living there. So when I moved back to California, I went to my home town to live which is a small town in the Central Valley. At the time I lived there the only thing between Lancaster and Palmdale was that Hanger at plant 42.

I lived in Palmdale for a couple of years. I had 2-1/2 acres on the west side - about 1973-4. It's desert. Nothing great going on. For me, entertainment was riding my horse and excitement was going to a horse auction. In August, the Antelope Valley Fair is the big attraction. That's about it. Hopefully, there's more out there now.
