Hello, y'all!
I passed through Colorado Springs when I last visited my sister who lives in Pueblo. I was impressed by that city, but not by Limon or any of the other towns that I passed through in eastern Colorado. I hope to visit her again this year and was wondering if anybody can recommend the best city to visit in Colorado?

Hmmm. I guess it depends on what you look for in a nice city. Limon is about as good as it gets in Eastern Colorado. Denver is nice if you like the big city. Fort Morgan is ok if there was some way you could come in on I-76 instead of I-70 you would drive right through there. Montrose is a favorite place of mine, but it is on the Western Slope so would be way out of the way for you. Larimer County (Loveland and Fort Collins) has some neat areas too. They would be out of your way also, but not as bad as the Western Slope.

I have always liked Glenwood Springs, but then it's in the mountains and I love being in the mountains. Whenever I've been up there everyone seems to be friendly .

I agree with th person who said it depends on what you are looking for...there is Steamboat Springs or Glenwood Springs, how about Aspen or Vail, Idaho Springs or Durango? Just to mention a few of the possibilities...not much in Eastern CO as you move east from the foot hills but if the eastern part of CO is all you have seen you have missed 95% of what CO has to offer, maybe more.

Definitely Estes Park, so beautiful.
However, Denver is good if you want a big city with variety of things to do.

Depends on what you like, Colorado Springs is beautiful and has lots to offer - 7 falls, cheyenne mnt zoo, renaissance fair. I like the Golden, Idaho springs areas. tour coors, hot springs, kayaking, paragliding (not that I ever jumped off a mountain.) not much night life though.

The difference between Colorado Springs and Yogert is that yogert has an active culture. If you are looking for a city that offers a lot to do and a fair amount of opportunity Denver is the place, if your looking for beauty its got to be Aspen, or Glenwood Springs.
