Friend With Benefits?

Just thought I would rant here, but has anyone met a guy (or a girl) and they seemed nice and you thought that the two of you would hook up and then they are like "Oh let's be friends with benefits!" anyone here experienced that? cause everytime I meet someone that's EXACTLY what they want and it's starting to get real annoying. Maybe I should put a sign on me that says "look at me I'm easy yeah I'll spread my legs!" sorry I don't play like that. I just want one guy who's going to love me for me and if sex is involved I don't want it to be like a one night stand or whatever and have him expecting it EVERY SECOND.

I seriously hate men right now.

I don't understand your question.

they are like "Oh let's be friends with benefits
How can a person be like "Oh let's be friends with benefits?" That just doesn''t make sense. A person can be like a brother, or like a sister, but he can't be like Oh anything. That is not a characteristic.

Don't take it personally. It's not you! There's alot of guys that might be looking for something, but alot of guys that use this to "hook up". That's a personal choice between two adults, but if your profile states that you are looking for something more that that, I find it insulting that someone woul deven suggest a friend with "benefits". I automatically delete anyone that sends me something with sexual suggestion in it. It actually pisses me off. You aren't the only one:)

While there are plenty of players out there, the "friends with benefits" thing is not common. Let me translate that to you from man-speak: You're fun and I like hanging out with you, and I definitely would like to have sex with you, but I don't want to date you!

If this is happening a lot (and from your tone, it sounds like it is), then the problem may be on your end. A lot of us are actually here for relationships, not a quick shag (though I'm sure those people are here, too)

And there could be many reasons they don't see themselves in a relationship with you. Maybe you have kids. Maybe you're too clingy. Maybe they wouldn't want to introduce you to their friends or family. Maybe you're too wild and they think you'll end up hurting them- so they try to be emotionally distant.

So, next time you get that- why don't you ask them honestly why they don't want a relationship with you.

So, I was talking to a woman at work who is frustrated at not meeting the "right" man. I mentioned that from my own experience, I'm not interested in women that have like, a ton of pics of them and their friends posing for pic after pic in bars.

It was a revelation to her.

1. But, she will not change anything
2. It''s amazing that she was oblivious to it
3. I wonder what I'm oblivious to

4. Just exactly what are your expectations from a free website? - What sort of value do you place on the person who you hope to meet and conceivably spend the rest of your life with?

When I was child after my mom passed away, my dad began to date this woman. I remember her name was Helen. I could tell he really cared for her, and began to fall in love with her. Now my dad was an old-fashioned catholic. He didn't believe in sex outside of marriage. Nothing wrong with that believe by the way. Anyway, even though I was probably 6 or 7 years old at the time, I could kind of sense that Helen didn't care for my dad as much as he cared for her. The relationship fizzled out and ended. Years later, I found out from my older brother that one day Helen approached my dad and basically said she didn't want a real relationship with him that would lead to any kind of a commitment. She suggested a "friend with benefits" relationship. (Using your words of course) She actually said to my dad, (Obviously talking about sex) "You get what you want, and I'll get what I want." My dad said "No."

So again, we see how woman love to accuse us men of being, mean, evil, perverted and wanting a "Friend with benefits." Well.....woman do it too.

If it will make you feel any better, I believe most of us don't have too much luck at these websites either. You are not alone. Every day I get a message from some girl in China wanting to meet me. Really, China, huh? Oh, well, I guess that's close enough to date right?

Hang in there, you'll meet mister right when you least expect it.

it doesnt just happen to women. When I saw frist divorced, I met a woman that would only come to my house between the hours of 5 and 7 am Satuday or Sunday. And then rushing to "GET GOING." She would then pick a fight on Monday and want to "make up" by Friday. I thought she was married and ended it after a few weeks.

I would say perhaps write that in your profile, NOT looking for friends with benefits, just a guy who can commit for a long term relationship. Some guys just don't get it do they? Ugh. I've met a couple of guys like that too. It does get frustrating especially when you are looking for a nice guy, someone who will love you for you. When I was dating, I thought perhaps if I dated older guys late 40s that they would be ready to commit but nooooo, grrrrrrrr. Guess you can't go by age anymore.

I hope you meet someone special, I know how you feel.

In my personnal experience friends with benefits do not work out. Somehow someway feelings get in the way, one wants just the friends w/beneifits and the other is starting to get attracted or fall in love(infatuation) with the other.

For men who come to you and ask that say

I AM WORTH MORE, I CAN BE YOUR GIRLFRIEND W/BENEIFITS
and if they dont like it tell them to push off, the only one to get hurt is YOU

The problem is, Who does the benefits, Benefit? Surely not the person really looking for a connection..

the comment about their being too many players covers both sides.. Yes, women play too..

I've pretty much given up on ads which have that all too popular phrase, along with the ones that have "I'll tell you later" in their information fields.. The majority have turned out to be nothing more than spam-mills posing as real people, and it's turned into far too many heartaches, to say nothing of the outrage these frauds have caused.
