I tried calling her today, left a voice message and told her everyone has been asking about her and told her I hope she was feeling better, will let ya know if I talk to her.....

All I can figure is she must not be feeling very well to go this long without coming to this site and saying something,being that she said she would as soon as she could.

one of my friends/co-workers husband had the same surgery about a year or so ago. He was out of the hospital in 4 days, but required a nurse daily for a week or so. It may just be she isn't up to really talking yet, let alone sitting at a computer

Oh I am sure sitting on a computer is out of the question, as for the phone, that I do not know about, I have tried calling her a couple of times, but at least I was able to talk to her the day after her surgery, this way we know she made it through it ok...

I'm sure she is fine...it is a rough surgery to begin with. Hopefully soon we will hear from her. I even have my friend Sonja asking about her every few days. She even told me to give Dove her number so if she needed to talk to someone who has been through the surgery she can talk to her hubby.
Speaking of people being ok, Mr. Jack has been very quiet lately. Hope all is going well with the not smoking

thanks for the concern, yep, still not smokin..day 28?29?? to early...but as I turned 56 Fri, and the thread on men over 40, I figured I am just too far over the hill for you folks

Hi Dove? As you know I am new on here and don't know what type of surgery you had but I hope all went well with you. I just had surgery myself in June, I was diagnosed with a tumor. It was removed and Thank God it was benign. I returned to work on the 31st of July. Get well blessings sent your way.

Welcome back JMW and Thank you. My staples are gone now.. yippeeeeee. They gave me the heebie jeebies to look at them. Im still pretty tender , and sleep allot. TV is getting on my nerves though. I can recite every commercial on television by heart.Misteriosa I had a colon resection due to severe diverticulitis, They removed the bad part of my colon and sewed it back together.

I hope she is doing ok. Best I can figure, (besides that she is taking a page out of my book about disappearing without cancelling your profile), is she must not be feeling very well, (hopefully not dealing with heat or sun stroke) or is dealing with some personal problems (that shall remain classified to us) to go THIS long without coming to this site and saying something!
Especially concerning the actions of Jfreak and myself at Doc's party!

Ok, I finally heard from Dove, she is just running around like a chicken without their head right now.
She said to say Hi to everyone and she misses everyone. When she has a chance to breathe she will be back.

I am in a strange mindset these days. Maybe its a midlife age conflict of some sort. Last year I was going out wanted to get out as much as possible. I loved being social and meeting new friends. Suddenly this has changed for me . I am not eager to sit in a smokey bar, and breathe in all that second hand smoke. I detest my clothing hair and car reeking like smoke after. I am always thrilled when a party is held in a no smoking venue. It makes for a much better night out. I went to a recent Orlando party earlier this month it was my first party since May. There were so many new faces and a few familiar. I actually felt like I have forgotten how to socialize. It did make me feel good to see there quite a few that remembered me and came to chat for a while.Im thinking the bar scene is just not for me anymore. I would love to take some weekend trips, go to the theatre( my true love after Disney)I want to do something worthwhile, something of value.
This time of year is very tough for me Dec 30 marks the three year anniversary of when I met and fell in love with the love of my life. The passage of time has not healed the wounds and I still miss him very very much.
