Gee I would ride too, although I would not drive it, I know for a fact that I would kill myself, but to ride, oh yeah, I'll ride!!!!

I hear alot of women say they like bikes and would like to be the passenger riding with anyone that has a bike ,"lets go have fun"but it seems , at least if it was me ,I would have to really know the person and have a idea about that persons riding habits ,because wrecking on a bike is no pretty picture ,and not everyone that owns a bike or a harley for that matter really knows how to handle it..
Ive been on plenty of bikes and probably 95 percent of the time I was the one controlling the bike behind handle bars,but when I was on the back of a buddies bike ,I didnt take that lightly ,your life is in their hands .
Almost everytime I drive through Tampa on I-75 on weekend nights I see crazy bike riders going 90 plus, weaving through traffic often with a women on the back[I wonder if she knew what she signed up for],at least when I used to burn it ,I was by myself ,not endandering a passenger and on back roads or dirt roads with no traffic.
Bike injuries and deaths have gone way up,just be causus.

I tell you what, I only get on the back of a bike with someone I know, and before I get on that bike I let the person know, if they act like an idiot with me on the back, they WILL get hit upside the head... And if they have been drinking, that is a NO WAY IN HELL THAT IS HAPPENING!!!!

Sounds like a good plan,although if they have a helmet on I dont think they will feel it.
There not a whole heck of alot you can do once you are one the bike and they start riding like a nut except ask them to stop or short of hitting on them which may cause a accident in itself.
Its a matter of knowing and trusting them from the start.

well, I have been riddin for 42 years....and yep, I have dropped a bike a cupla times, but sober, never, I have been told by ladies that they would rater ride on the bike with me more than the car, cause I pay a LOT more attention on bike...
also, I have had to threaten, and take right back and let off, 2 female passenger's who would not follow simple safety rules them selves, like NOT holding on to my shoulders and upper arms on the road, so, ya gotta know who and what for both ends of a bike....

Once again Bikes are pretty to look at all that shiney chrome and all, I may convinced to sit on one while its parked. Just wayyyyy to scary to ride on one for me.

You girls are wanna be's , If your not born with a desire to ride a hog then you shouldnt be on the back of it. My grandpa was the first to have Harley Davidison retail establishment in Larchmont NY so its in my blood. Also if your afraid to even try to ride your own, then sheesh get a tricycle~ one other thought, theres tons of other Florida residents here on this site, sure would be nice to here from them and not always the handful of resident big mouths

First of all ,anyone is allowed to post anytime and as often as they want to ,thats regulars and non regulars ,its not like us freguent posters are stopping others from posting ,and theres not a reply limit per thread ,your logic makes no sence.
Second Dove is the last person on here that you should be critizicing for a unpleasent additude,she goes out of her way to be nice to everyone.
Third this is a bunch of bunk about harley being the only true bikers bike,this is propaganda started by the harley industry, and has caught on with some narrow minded people that think a bikers value is determined by the brand of his bike, very shallow .

Thank you Ken Harley lovers are just simply devoted to their rides. Its not unlike the Coke and Pepsi drinkers fighting for supremacy. I am pretty excited we have a new Harley Davidson Dealership that just opened in our neighborhood. I loved going to the Harley store off of I-4 in Orlando during bike week for the free concert series I hope they do some of the same here.

Dove have you been out to the one on 95 little bit north of the I4 exit? Almost every Saturday that I have been out that way they have stuff going on. I was there last weekend and it was packed. It is a normal stop when I am on that coast. The place is huge and tons of bikes and other stuff.

I think alot of them take it too far,its one thing to be proud of your bike, and another thing to dis people that dont own that brand.
Ive seen some Harley owners go to the point of vandalizing other riders bikes because they weren't Harley's.
