I had a dream

Dreams unify the body, mind, and spirit. It provides you with insight into ourselves and a means for self-exploration. In understanding your dreams, you will have a better understanding and discovery of your true self.

I had a rather surreal dream last night that involved Matchdoctor. In my dream I logged on to discover the site had totally changed in appearance and format. The site had pastel colors with mythological graphics and fairys, nymphs, and angels. It was impossible to navigate the site and it was hard to find any of the forums. In my dream I tried desperately to figure out the change. A friend was sitting behind me in what appeared to be a movie seat and asked to see my surgical incision. I complied and she proceeded to tear my incision open with her bare hands. I woke up after this. Once I realized it was all a dream and my body was safely still in tact. I thought how terribly odd a dream it was.

I looked up computer in a dreams dictionary and it said Computer

To see a computer in your dream, symbolizes technology, information, and modern life. New areas of opportunities are being opened to you. Alternatively, computers also represent a lack of individuality and non expression of emotions and feelings. Too often you are just going along with the flow, without voicing your own opinions and views. You may also feel a depreciated sense of superiority.

To dream that you computer has a mind of its own, denotes anxiety about technology and loss of control. You are feeling overwhelmed and feel that you are at the mercy of another.

Since my incision is across my abdomen I looked this up as well.Abdomen

To see your abdomen in a dream, refers to your natural instincts and repressed emotions. This symbol may also have a strictly physiological factor where you may be experiencing constipation or indigestion. Emotionally, seeing your abdomen in your dream may imply something in your real life that you "cannot stomach" or have difficulties accepting You want to get it out of your system.

To dream that you abdomen is exposed, signifies trust and vulnerability. You may be expressing a desire to express your primal emotions/instincts.

Have you had any odd dreams lately????????????

Wow Dove, What a dream! Well is what the dreams define true? What dream book are you using? Is it on the web or paperback? Just the thought of having some one rip your incision open is painful. It reminds of a lady that just got arrested for cutting a pregnant woman open removing her fetus, killing the fetus the mother and her three children. Sorry did not mean to get off the subject.

I might be odd but I rarely have dreams, and when I do I try to remember them but can't. Do you know what that means? I had some dreams very long ago where I am in an area visiting but then I happen to visit that area and it seems familiar as if I had been there before yet have not. Crazy or odd? I wonder

I wish I remembered my dreams but 99% of the time I don't. The ones I remember scare me as they normally happen and aren't good ones.

wait let me rephrase that, I wish I remembered the good dreams not the bad ones!

misteriosa I looked it up on the web. I often have very bizarre and unsetttling dreams and often remember them. I have people show up in my dreams that I have not seen in years or have even thought about in years. I have happy dreams too , those seem to be the ones that get interrupted and make me want to go back to sleep to finish them.

When I was a child I had a recurring dream about my mom having to get her leg amputated. As an adult and mother I had a recurring dream that my daughter was being attacked by an alligator in a pond near our house while my brother sat idly by in a boat and did nothing to stop it.

Dove that is scary, the bad thing is that sometimes it seems so real it feel as if it actually happened. Long ago when I did have dreams there was one that I remember having over and over again. I am driving down the street and always end up rear ending a semi, actually driving under it and having my head severed but in the dream although my head is gone I can stil see myself with no head. I'd wake up grabbing for my neck making sure it was still there.

Witchie, I guess you and I have have that in common, not remembering our dreams. I was told by an elder woman that when I have a dream as soon as I wake up I should write it down but when it comes to writing it down I can't remember. How odd is that?

I have always been fascinated by dreams. Our dreams focus upon our thoughts and emotions, and speculate that dreams deal with immediate concerns in our lives, such as unfinished business from the day, or concerns we are incapable of handling during the course of the day. Dreams can, in fact, teach us things about ourselves that we are unaware of. I do not always agree with all the books that deal with the symbolism of dreams. These are published on the narrow premise that 'one symbol fits all'. I think the individual minds tailor symbols and dreams to meet individual needs. In fact most of the literature in dreams is just theory and not an exact science.

I do know for me that my dreams have inspired me to write poetry and sometimes help me resolve problems. Somehow a resolution for a problem becomes clearer to me after my " night Journeys" even if my dreams make no sense at all.

I have been told the same thing to write it down, but I very rarely remember any of it as soon as I wake up. If I do happen to remember anything it is more a feeling then the dream and only little tiny bits of the dream it's self. If I do remember part of a dream it is very real and normally scares the hell out of me. I would love to have just a few normal dreams, puffy white clouds, cute little bunnies hoping around....you know what I mean. Not dreams where one of my friends is getting killed or in an accident.

I had someone tell me a long time ago that it is not normal not to remember anything and that I had some major issues. That if I didn't receive some form of counseling, I would end up a basketcase. Of course this person was someone who had a minor in counseling and knows everything. As it turns out I am pretty normal (well in my little world I am) and he had a nervous breakdown about a year ago.

There are allot of people that do not recall their dreams, so you are in good company. So your friend really knew little of what he was talking about. I would say you are very Normal Witchie , and we all luv you just as you are.
