Speaking of songs, and inserting songs that make one cry, this song by Petula Clark always cleans out my tear ducts. The lyrics are very moving alone, but coupled with the music it's overwhelming.

wow them are both great songs havent heard them but the lyrics seem tear jerken to me.
My tear jerken song is by Sara Evens and its called "No Place That Far" it the song I always sing to my children and I really dont sound half bad singen it either (LMAO) and way here are the lyrics for it.

ohhhh another one just came to mind...it's not really sad, but it makes me sad at times as it has a meaning behind it for me....and one I won't post by Brain Adams....Heaven...when I was young and stupid at 20 that was suppose to be my wedding song...still can't listen to it...lol

With the holiday's coming up my dad and I got talking about NJ and how Christmas use to be. I come from a pretty big family....cousin wise there are or were 27 of us kids...21 boys, 6 girls...lol Most of us use to go to my grandmothers Christmas day for dinner...well of course I got thinking about how much I miss her. This song came out right around the time she passed away and it always reminds me of her.

I was looking for a picture my sister is looking for and came across one of my grandmother with her Irish Setter standing in front of her. Tons of good memories came flooding in, but of course one sad one had too, also. Being Scottish we always have bagpipes at weddings and funerals. Anytime I hear Amazing Grace on a bagpipe it reduces me to tears.
