I was listening to a radio talk show on my way home from work this evening. A twenty seven year old male called in. He said he went to a bar in west palm beach afer hearing that divorced women with money hang out there. He met a lady 45 years old who he discribes as pretty hot for her age. He is living with her now , and she pretty much takes care of him, makes his car payments, he does not have to pay rent. He said he has a good thing going for him , but he knows that he cant see himself living with her more then five years. He also admitted having sex with other women since living with her. He says he has to be creative and tell the other women they cant come to his place because he lives with a crazy room-mate. Are some men really this shallow?????

Player is being polite... I know of course that women use men too, but Its really hard for me to fanthom that kind of behavior. He sounded really proud of himself for having such a great opportunity fall into his lap.. He also said he comes from a family with money , but he has never been very ambitious. I guess he could make a career living off women ( wait a minute I do know someone who does that now) When men in their twenties or thirties contact me, i am extremely leery of their intentions.

Unfortunately, MD will let them on, as this isn't just a dating site. Right under the MD name is has "free community for singles and friends" I just ignore the married ones.

Right now at this very moment men are on the bottom most rung on the ladder of life with me.. I may feel differently in a few hours , but if you do not mind, i am going to wallow in it right now.

I am truely very upset.

Wallow all you want Dove, you don't need to ask permission to wallow. Yes, I agree with you, right now most men suck big time!! Of course I don't mean Ken, Jack or Outlaw...they are still on my nice men list.

So its ok, for women to look for a guy with money to quote unquote be taken care of. But when a guy does it, its considered shallow. Nothing like a double standard

for women to look for a guy with money

Well I know I don't look for a guy with money...never have, my past relationships are proof of that. I have normally made more money then them.

I agree there are women that all they care about is a guy that has the money to take care of them. They are as wrong as the men that are the same way. To me I would rather have a man that wants to take care of my needs (emotional and physical) and live paycheck to paycheck. Then a man that has more money then god but emotionally is cold.
