I could not sleep last night and decided to read some profiles.. just for fun. After reading till my eyes blurred I could not help but notice all the annoying cliches that people use.. one profile after another was a carbon copy of the other in so many ways. Here are some that I saw.

" I know how to treat a lady" .. sure you do

" I enjoy long moonlit walks on the beach".... wish I had a quarter for everytime I read this one
.
" No liars or game players!"... If someone is really a game player, do you think this warning will keep them away?

" This isn't enough space to sum up my life" followed by a long summation.... sheesh

" I am easygoing and down to earth".. until you get to know the real me.

" I am no good at these things, I never know what to say in personal ads".. gee how impressive.

" I know my pic sucks".. do not make excuses for the pic you put in your profile, if you do not like your pic, get a new one.

" I enjoy going out and partying, but also like curling up at home with someone special"... you sound like a used car salesman, let your interests speak for themselves.

"I am looking for my female/male equivalent/counterpart."..ooooh so narcissistic and so boring.

" I am looking for someone with no baggage" are you looking for someone with amnesia , with no past.

"Keep drama at a minimum, be low maintenance, no chaos"....this spells disappointed and jaded to me. Why not be positive instead of negative

" I do not take life too seriously" what exactly does this mean ? Are you looking for a stand-up comedian?, or playing in traffic is a favorite past time?

" MUST be able to think, put a sentence together, have an intelligent conversation"... yes i will issue a report card on how you did after our first date.

Reading profiles is just so much fun!!!!!!

lol...Dove you crack me up at times. Hummmm can imagine what she is thinking about mine

" I am looking for someone with no baggage" are you looking for someone with amnesia , with no past.

I love that one....no baggage = boring life or no life. If you have lived then you have baggage

" I enjoy long moonlit walks on the beach".... wish I had a quarter for everytime I read this one

Now for me that isn't a line...the beach is 5 min away from my house...lol I am there more at night then during the day

I get a kick out of how they rate things....lets see hair is high, but everything else is low...so as long as you have the hair they want, that is all that matters...lol

well actually in response to that...and Doves can attest to this...i prefer men with long hair...so hair is kinda high up there for me...but it won't be a deal breaker so to speak...but in a crowded room...i'll NOTICE a man with long hair and do a double take...

I'm the same way, I love long hair...if it is curly or wavy all the better, but it's not a deal breaker either....I just thought having hair as the only thing marked high was kind of funny. I would think being able to understand them when they are speaking would be kind of up there (they had Engish only, but it was rated low)....but then maybe they don't care if they can talk or not.....lol

I guess in my way of thinking, if you have something set on high, that is a deal breaker more or less.....but I can be wrong...I has been known to happen

Well I might be guilty of one of these ,I think "Down to earth " was one of my qualifications in locking for a mate ,when I first joined and was single.

Next time Im single Ill put the opposite, so I dont sound so cligue, like "Buoyant and Floats above the earth",sounds like a desciption of my wife Witchiedee

Oh oh, I guess I better change my profile to add "I also give great back and neck massages!"

I prefer men with long hair...

First welcome back Eangel, and second I have long hair which I keep tied in a tail, except for that cowboy orlando thing, then I used a biker tail holder on it

I am still holding out for my fivesome with you , Outlaw, Jack and Fuchia.

Nope, sorry Dove but I pass. Now if it was with you Linda, jfreak, witchie and me then MAYBE.....
