Vacations Are Important For More Than Just Fun...
Americans don’t take vacations often enough. In fact, according to Expedia.com’s annual vacation deprivation survey, Americans are leaving an average of four vacation days unclaimed per year (source: The Washington Post). And now with increasing frequency, when we do take vacations, we often bring work along with us, keeping ourselves essentially still in the work mindset we’re trying to escape. This is unfortunate for several reasons:
Vacations Promote Creativity: A good vacation can help us to reconnect with ourselves, operating as a vehicle for self-discovery and helping us get back to feeling our best.
Vacations Stave Off Burnout: Workers who take regular time to relax are less likely to experience burnout, making them more creative and productive than their overworked, under-rested counterparts.
Vacations Can Keep Us Healthy: Taking regular time off to ‘recharge your batteries’, thereby keeping stress levels lower, can keep you healthier.
Vacations Can Strengthen Bonds: Spending time enjoying life with loved ones can keep relationships strong, helping you enjoy the good times more and helping you through the stress of the hard times. The bottom line is that taking a good amount of time away from the stresses of daily life can give us the break we need so that we can return to our lives refreshed and better equipped to handle whatever comes.
If money was not an Issue... What would your Dream Vacation be?

I would visit my kids and then take them to the places I have been as I was growing up. I've been to some really great places across the states. Would love for them to experience the sights and the history that each place has.

I have a few dream vacations.
I would love to travel to all the mountain ranges in the United States once again. I would rent a cabin or stay in the Lodges in the National parks. The mountains are my nirvana. I feel like I am on the edge of heaven when I am looking at the Mountain vistas.
Another dream is Rail Travel. I would like to travel on the Sunset Limited out to California .Or travel Across the Canadian Rockies by rail, that would be awesome.
I would love to Cruise to Alaska with a group of friends. I just love the entire cruise ship experience.
I have never ever been to Europe, and must go in my life time.. ans see a real genuine castle. I love History and would be spellbound to see some of the places I have read about.

I have a few of them myself - in no particular order:
#1 - Galapagos Islands - have wanted to go since I was 11 or 12.
#2 - Cruise to Alaska - Dove - can you say "Love Boat"?
#3a - Great Britain - all of it! But particularly, London, Stonehenge, Scotland.... #3b - Republic of Ireland - longing to see the lush, Irish countryside
#4 - Greek Isles - side trip to Athens with all of its history
#5 - African Safari - photo safari - no guns...
#6 - Paris - je suis enchante
#7 - Grand Canyon - such majesty
#8 - Grand Tetons - again, such majesty
#9 - Australian Outback (ever since A Town Called Alice)
#10- Rome/Venice - history and romance

All of those places sound wonderful.. there is so much world out there to see. Nothing would make me happier then to have the freedom to travel and the resources to do so.
I am going on a short cruse with my daughter to the Bahama's on April 5th .. I cant wait to be wined and dined in a manner that simply never happens enough in my life. You really feel like royalty on a cruise.

Would like to go to Thailand or Brazil. Or better yet BOTH!!! I'd also like to visit Hawaii again. I can't seem to get enough of the Aloha State. One place I've wanted to visit recently is (gasp!) Cuba.
Well, I guess I can especially forget about that last one. ...and maybe some of the others as well
More realistically, a road trip to New England, or to Minneapolis to see Mall of America sometime when I visit my sister in Ohio (I've always had a fascination with large malls).
or maybe a trip to Mexico should I decide to visit my other sister in Houston.
Hey, it's not far from Texas

...as for all the thrilling stores, I don't doubt I'd enjoy browsing through all those computer, technology, and gadget stores that such a big mall must have.
...but then that wouldn't leave much time to do my scouting mission.. I guess I would need to spend two full days at Mall of America!!

Outlaw oh the places you've been!!!!! I feel in awe .
Last night i was watching HGTV and they had a show about Recreational Vehicles. Some of them are like Mansions on wheels . The Amenities are amazing. Cherry Wood Cabinets , Steel appliances, all the comforts of home and more. The Class "A' came with some really lofty price tags too. I fell in love with some of the more nostalgic ones that looked like the ones back in the fiftys and sixties. I can really see how you can get caught up in the RV craze. I think I would love that lifestyle. Being a gyspy and traveling all around the country and into Canada and beyond. Now to find the money to make a dream come true.

I saw something on 175 last year that made me think. A really nice high end RV got flyped from high winds that resulted in a crash ,all the inside was opened up and it was twisted and crushed like a pretel. Dont know what happened to the occupants ,I hope they were alright ,but it just goes to show, you go invest alot of money and trick out your RV and it can be turned into paper mashay in about a second. I guess that is one of the pitfalls of a home on wheels.

If money was not an issue I would definitely go to Italy and take as many pictures as possible. I would even take an RV tour of the United States, hit all the fun stuff.. Route 66, the mountains and all that jazz. Just taking pictures of everything, stopping every mile or two and taking a picture.
