You don’t have to look far to see signs of spring. From the budding of the trees if you live up North and the warming of the temperatures to the animals coming out of their winter hideouts, there seems to be a promise of new birth and color in the springtime air. Soon the stifling heat of summer will be upon us.. but right now its a magnificent time to live in Florida!
We have quite a few rituals in Spring.. We spring the clocks ahead, we do spring cleaning, we have spring break, we plant seeds, we fly kites on a windy day. we have April showers that bring those may flowers. We hide Easter eggs.
So tell me some of your favorite Spring Time activities, memories , or wishes!!!
This is also the place to list songs that celebrate Spring, Picnic recipes, Spring time poetry. Spring is a great time to fall in love too.
Fuchia could give us gardening tips!!!!!
Lets give Spring the attention it deserves.

It's pretty darn hot here. Try walking 5 miles in the summer-like heat we are having down here - make that 5 miles each way.

Walking 1 mile would be tuff today....I had a big yard sale and it was very hot...89 degrees...I got sunburned and I already had a slight tan...sore now though....I planted some Philodendriums and some Hibiscus Flowers today. Hope it rains a little tonight...suppose to get some strong winds and storm weather tonight and tomorrow...batten down the hatches!

Well now... that cold front finally made it all the way down here. It was p-r-e-t-t-y chilly this morning! ...but beautiful outside.. Not a single cloud in the sky But you know what this means for the folks up north... Always seems that either we, in the South, are broiling in the heat...or those Northerners are up they're freezing their butts off

I always have fun teasing my daughter about how it's hot it is here and that I'm wearing shorts while she's wearing a winter coat and scraping snow off of the car.
I'm bad
