I took the day off today from teaching to attend day two orientation at Universal Studios. When I passed through the gate there was a grand celebration going on. Today Universal Studios officially announced the opening of the Simpson attraction which will replace the recently closed back to the Future attraction. The new attraction will be essentially be the same kind of simulator ride as back to the future and will open in Summer 2008 in Orlando and in Hollywood. Of course we were all handed a pink frosted donut with sprinkles( my daughter told me Homer loves them) and a cool letter from the CEO with the grand announcment.

A local tv station (Fox 13 news here in Tampa) carried a news report about that new show on their broadcast last night. Didnt see you Dove but I did make a effort to see IF I could spot you during the new report.

I did not see any cameras out and about on Tuesday .. though I have no doubt that those reporters were dying to get a statement from me
As far as Homer and the donuts.. I really had no clue why they all handed us a pink frosted donut when we arrived along with the announcement letter. I had to ask. I do not think I have ever watched a full episode of the Simpsons ever. I have watched little snippits of it over the years... and it comes on right before American Idol( my favorite show  )

O.K....now i got the reference to the Simpsons (I'll cop to the fact that I have that CD they put out years ago with th awful "Do the Bartman" tune...but the oher stuff on that CD is pretty decent)...
But I just have to ask...did the pink donuts thing make anyone think of "pink parts?"... Dove??? Hmmm? Hmmm???? Hmmm?????

Dang Fuchia you look remarkedly young for a man that lived in the stone age. It must be all that outdoor living you do.
EAngel I think of pink parts often of course but not this time.....well I might be thinking about them now since you have taken my mind back down to naughty-ville!
