Florida is Number One!

Have you all noticed how active the Florida community is? Florida has 438 threads with 11903 posts!  The closest runner up is New York with 204 threads and 1833 posts. Now that could be taken a couple of ways...Floridians have no life (from all people who do not live in Florida!)  or that Florida Rocks!   
What do you think the reason is that we seem to outshine when it comes to the forums?

One of the first things I noticed about this site was the level of participation in the Florida forum. I almost didn't register but after reading several threads I felt comfortable enough to give it a try.

I think its safe to say that we all have very full and busy lives and Matchdoctor and the Florida Forums is just an extension of our lives and a way to expand our social net work. We have all formed a close knit family and celebrate the good things going on in our lives. We also give each other a great avenue to vent when life throws some curve balls. I am very proud to be part of such a great group of people. Yes Florida rocks and the Florida Forum rocks big time.

Hot and Humid is an understatement.. its deadly out there, Nearly thirty years in Florida now and I still cant use to our brutal summers.

I peruse the threads quite a bit and I've noticed that people in Fla threads are a lot nicer. The people in the other threads really get on each other bad.

I have noticed that the other forums are basically brutal! What's with that? I'm happier here, though I do read some of the others and the blogs. There are some wacked people out there. I had to post on one blog that really rubbed me the wrong way. Talk about a little Hitler!

I have noticed that too...plus some of the stuff they come out with is just so off the wall and negative. I mean granted none of us on here are perfect and we have had our little spats here and there. For the most part, we agree to disagree and it is over with. No hard feelings, no name calling...we act like adults.

At least if it comes back it isn't my fault this time......lol
Now so you all (the old thread people) can yell at me, it is my fault it showed up last time....I was joking with Outlaw, said it has been to quiet and it has been gone to long. Oh and that the threads were to quiet and we needed the drama to wake things up....not two or three days later it was back....lol
