I know we all grew up with the words of wisdom from our moms that we will never forget.
Of course we all have heard "Eat all your dinner there are children starving in Africa" or some other country.
or Do not sit too close to the TV or you will go blind.
What did your Mom use to say?

lol...I can think of a few things that I can't say here 
One thing she use to say all the time was the normal family vacation one...
If I have to tell you one more time to stop fighting, we are going to stop this car and your going to get it.
Her other one she still uses today, just changes mother to grandmother
What do I look like your mother or something?

my mother was always yelling when you put money in your mouth. you know how kids are when they have a wallet and think they are cool. money goes in the mouth while you put the rest back in your wallet.
don't put that in your mouth you don't know where it has been or who touched it.

My mom use to say just wait till you have kids of your own .. you will see what its like? I think she gets some wicked satisfaction when my daughter gives me a hard time.
Another infamous one was Why? Because I SAID so, that's why!

My mom use to say just wait till you have kids of your own .. you will see what its like?
My mom used to say something to that effect. She would say: "You watch, it's going to come back at you worse when you have your kids"
My mom used that famous line on us when we were little of: "Just you wait until your father gets home"
The other one was: "One of these days your face will freeze like that if you keep making those faces"

Or money does not grow on trees!!!!!! or this one...Always wear clean underwear in case you get in an accident.( shouldent you always wear clean underwear?)

My mom use to love to remind me that she was not my maid. Then there was interrogation when something was either missing or broken. She would punish both of us even if it one of us were innocent , if we did not own up on who commited the crime.
My mom was sneaky.. I would pay my brother to not tell when I had a party at home when my parets were away. My mom was paying him to tell. He made out like a badit.

I remember as a kid getting into big work projects and working into the late in the day or sometimes night,for instance one example that comes to mind I was working on my Honda 360SL motorcycle and having all kinds of problems with it,and I had alot of the motor apart,I just really wanted to fix it and be done with it.
Mom would say,"just let it alone until tommorrow and things will look better in the morning".
I remember thinking why would it look better in the morning because everything that is messed up right now will be just as messed up in the morning.
It just so turns out that when I approached the project with a fresh mind,things really did look better in the morning and problems that I was having the day before become ironed out in a new day.

Here's one she used to say too. "I'm going to give you til the count of three". 1...2...
I don't remember if she ever made it all the way to three or not.....lol

hate this one.. but my mom did it once for real." I am going to wash your mouth out with soap" I called someone stupid and that was my punishment.. yuck!

Mom never used the soap thing on us....she would have had to use it on herself first....lol
How about..... If your friends jumped off a bridge would you do it to? Bad thing to say when the city you live in has like 10 bridges...lol
Then also, close the door! Your going to let the air out...isn't air everywhere?
