How many people would be interested in having a get together in or near Ocala? I actually live in Wildwood but would be interested in attending something a little closer to me than Orlando. Any ideas?

I'm in the Leesburg area. I don't much about the Wildwood or Ocala areas, I don't go that way too often. There isn't much here. There is Venetian Gardens if you were thinking about a cookout. It's a big public park where they hold the fireworks every year. They have picnic areas with grills, a swimming pool, a baseball feild, and a volleyball area (I think that's still there, it's been a little while since I've been). There is a lot of walking area around the lake as well.

 Hi doll4U I have not seen you since the St Pattys day party. Im sure if you plan something in your area and get it posted you will find some folks up your way that would love a get together. I rarely pass that way unless Im headed to the panhandle. A cook out sounds like fun though.

hey g...how are you? yes its been a while. much has happened since that party. i went on vacation to the netherlands for two weeks and came home to a robbed house...oh what a mess. good hearing from you. did you ever try out that bbw club in orlando? i'd still like to go. drop me a line if your game...lol.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune with the Robbery , not a great welcome home present at all. Wow the netherlands how awesome, I be that was fun!!! I have never gone to the BBW club , lifes been rather busy lately , my social life has been on the back burner. Maybe one day. Could be fun there are many male admirers of voluptous curvy woman

You already know that I think it's a GREAT idea and that you can count on me. I am also familiar with Venetian Gardens in Leesburg and agree with honbee that it might just be the type of place you and I discussed.
It's a perfect area for Ocala, Oxford, Lady Lake, Fruitland Park, Leesburg, Tavares, Clermont, Mt. Dora, Brooksville, Wildwood, Coleman, Summerfield, and any number of other towns around here. (We don't have to restrict it, but I was just naming all the towns I could think of who might not want to travel to Orlando or Lakeland, etc.)
Have you ever heard of a party where the admission was to bring another person...of the opposite sex??? Is that anything worth thinking about? 
You know you can count on me for help....Good idea, girl!

Dear John:
I haven't heard from doll4u lately...know she just lost one of her dogs after an operation and was feeling REALLY down. I'm sure when she's up to it, she will be in touch again.
We both thought it would be a good idea, but it's very possible that lots of people are away now because response has been slow and sporadic. It takes time to get activities in any one area to grow.....hang in there.

hey judy..i was just kidding. well...not about the first 24 hours...heehee. yep...this man is incredible. now the only thing left is to actually meet...and make sure there is chemistry...which i pray their is...on both parts. who knows...that get together might just be a wedding reception...lol.

At least now I can understand why he was so eager to come to a party in Ocala, all the way from Pennsylvania.
I wish you both all the best. Chemistry's a tricky thing, but as far as I'm concerned, it's always worth a try.
Maybe responses for a get together will pick up in the fall when everybody gets back from vacation...or....feels better about venturing out in LESS heat!.
