Well guys, it looks like my Dad and I will be joining the ranks of folks leaving this wonderful  (but increasingly expensive  ) state. Looks like it's gonna be sometime in September. I AM DEFINITELY STILL GOING TO MAKE THE AUGUST 25TH LAKELAND EVENT.   You better believe it, chief!!! Like I said, I wouldn't miss this for the world!! My ability to go to the September 16th Latinfest event, however, is now in doubt.   However, I will try very hard to find a way to be in town long enough to make it to our Latinfest get-together. I will be very disappointed if I can't.
I've posted about this already in the Texas Forum. As you can imagine, I have started spending some time there - in the Texas Forum, that is... But it's not nearly as fun the Florida Forum. This Forum is as unique as the people in it - and I mean that in a good way.  The other forums seem drab compared to this one - and the people are not as nice.  What I'm trying to say folks, is even if I lived in Australia, 100 horses couldn't drag me away from the good ole' Florida Forum!!!  You guys rock! 
I am so glad all of you people are on MatchDoctor.. I'm talking to you Witchietoo, Brainwater, JFreak, Dovestreasure, Kenn159, OutlawStar, Honbee, and Honeybear. I take great comfort in the fact that, even though you guys are going to be a little further away from me, from now on... you'll still be just a few mouse clicks away, as always. That's one reason I love the Internet so much. You can take it with you wherever you go. 
I will post a blog entry on this soon, so stay tuned...

Oh Fuchia, I dol wish you the best in Texas....but remember, you will still be living in our lovely village, you aren't moving from there  , So are you going to learn how to say YeeHaw  Life is an adventure, and now you are going to explore a new highway, how exciting. I hope you meet some nice people in Texas, both the ones in person and the ones online. Of course, you know that your real home is here with us.

Anyway, it's like that sayin' goes. You can take me out of Florida, but you can't take Florida out of me.

Hey Fuchia
I wish you the best of luck there,like you said don't be a stanger around here in the Florida forum.
I've been to visit different parts of Texas and have lived in Austin and Brenham [72 miles north east of Houston] and Houston seems to be kind of a so so city to me, it's not bad but not great, I much prefer Austin but we will see what you think when you stop by the florida forum,hopefully things will go well for you there.

Me, I think I prefer San Antonio.. they've got it all. Houston is.. like you said.. so-so.. but I guess I'll get used to it. It'll be nice to live near family. However, I'll certainly miss the beaches here.

Oh wow, that is kinda a bummer you will be leaving Florida, but at least we will be able to meet you before the move... It is like family leaving.. You have to stay with here in the forums... I hope everything turns out well for ya in Texas...

Ditto Ken, I don't think Chris had any idea how many people actually cared for him... I went through the threads and blogs yesterday and saw how many people's live he make an impact on, it is just so sad.... Oh btw, the pic I have up is both Chris and I at the party in Aug. I put it up to honor him, and that pic will remain on my profile always....

I am glad you have that picture up Jfreak. I think it made Chris happy to have met you, honbee and outlaw. I feel even worse now that I missed that party though. How life can change in an instant. MD will be a very different place without our dear Fuchia.
