Well as most of you know, my parents sold their house in Palm Harbor, the closing is Friday. For the last few days, my dad and I have moved everything out of the house, into a pod and storage. I have muscles I forgot I had and feel like someone beat me...lol Where is Outlaw and his massages when I need one?

The house the originally put a bid on fell through, so they had to keep looking. They finally found one they loved that is in pre-foreclosure. Only problem is it has two mortgages on it and the second mortgage company is being a pain. The original mortgage company ok'd the offer, but the second one is fighting it. They stand to lose about 60,000 at this point. I have no clue what the second mortgage company was thinking. These people bought the house 2 years ago, between both mortgages they were able to get 30,000 more then the house was appraised at.

So anyway, at this point we are staying at my sisters house for now. At least it is in the general area of Orlando that they want to be in, so now I can find a job. The one good thing about all of this, I don't have to take care of my great Aunt anymore. Once they move into a new house, they are both here to care for her....YEAH!! I can have a life again...well as soon as I get a job and have money!!

Dove and JF, now we can all get together more often! Honbee your not that far from us so you can join us

I think in a few weeks or so the four of us should get together at Downtown Disney, window shop and bs for awhile...or even Old Town...that would be cool too!

With mortgage companies losing money hand over fist due to the number of forecloseures on the raise. Housing sales and/or construction flatlined for the time being and the condo bubble popped. My guess is that your mortgage company wants to C.I.A (cover its arse) when it comes to money on your new house Witchie, which is why they are being a pain right now.

As for me massages, I guess you will have to wait until Orlando Sept 22 to collect on the one I owe you.

Hi Witchie

I do wish you luck on your moving. It is such a hassle to pack and unpack. I hope that one day I can catch up with you and the others on Florida forums. I haven't made any of the parties. Talk soon.

I'm sure we will Honeybee

With the holiday's coming up there are always tons of get togethers.

Thanks, but they want to stay in Orlando and it has to be at least 4 bedrooms. The house is grandma's and grandpa's hotel for grandkids...lol At one point this summer we had all four kids from up north here, ranging in ages from 3 to 11. My baby brother and his wife were here for a week during that time too. Talk about full house!! Only good part was I got the three year old and the 6 year old in my room. I never get to spend time with them so for me it was fun.

They came back with a counter bid, so now they are going to go a little higher. Wish they would do what my parents did. Set a limit....will not go under this amount, no if, ands or buts. Makes things a lot easier.

Good Luck Fuchia. It took over 9 months to sell this house. It wasn't the price that made it take so long, it was the fact that there are so many others on the market.

Then I guess that means I'll be staying with me sister for quite a while then. Wish we could've just stay here 'till the place was sold. Would've made more sense to me. Oh well what can you do..

Well we still are going back and forth with the bank about the other house, but at least one good thing has happened.

I found a job.

Dove is going to shoot me, but I'll be working at Disney, in Tomorrowland. I start some time next week. The pay isn't the greatest, but hey it is better then nothing and it gets my foot in the door. The benefits make up for the lower pay. At this point I don't care as all I really care about is finding a job.

I just finished moving to Houston. Moving is stressful.

Guess this now means I am now officially a Texan.
