I sleep very little as it is...and ?Doves can attest to that...lol. After we've gone out to the wee hours, I'm usually up and running around 7am...It's considered me sleeping in late if I get up past 8am.
However, I find that 4 hours a sleep a night (and I rarely get that all at one time) is a good amount of sleep for me to feel rested and alert. I can also go a few days on no sleep. I sleep sporadically and live on very little sleep for months and then have a "crash weekend" where I get comfy and fade in and out of consciousness for a couple days to rejuvenate?
How much sleep do you get? How much do you need? What's your preferred amount of sleep if you had a choice?

Yes I can attest to the fact that eAngel does not sleep much at all.
I have sleep apnea and stop breathing about 35 times an hour during my REM cycle. As a result I am often very sleepy most of the day. I cant seem to adjust to my cpap machine so unfortunately I cant reap its benefits. When given the chance I know my body needs 8-10 hours of sleep to feel refreshed. I love my sleep my dreams are imaginative, fascinating and sometimes rather bizarre.

Well, I have to admit that I am like eAngel. I don't require a lot of sleep. My mom used to complain about that when I was little. I average about 2-3 hours of sleep a night and have gone for days/weeks without sleep. I do have my days where I recharge my batteries and actually sleep in. If I could choose an amount of time to sleep. I wish I could add a couple more hours to that.

at least you can get a lot done when you're awake...me usually 8-10 hours of sleep gets me rested, though i can function well on as little as 6 hours easily...i just can't keep that up for days on end...i have had a bad habit recently of waking up at about 3 in the morning for no apparent reason regardless of when i got to sleep

I'm like Honbee and E angel...I don't need much to get by. I also crash about once a month to where I will sleep for about 10 hours, but then I normally feel like garbage when I do wake up. I also rarely sleep through the night, I wake up at least once or twice during the night.
Now I wish I was like Dove, I very rarely remember my dreams.

Hmmmm.. the mystery is solved on why we got no response when JFreak and I called Witchie to report on all the trouble we was causing and was in while in Lakeland during that party!

I need about 8 hours a night and can function and often do on 7 hours. 6 hours I'm feeling a bit funky and at 4 hours the world seems fuzzy and cloudy.
I don't function well on low sleep.

Thirty five. Has anyone tried the Sleep number bed. Ahhh....... No...don't own one. But I'd love to. I don't usually get eight hours. Usually more like six...and less than six and it's gonna be a tough day.

I don't sleep much myself. I'm up till around 1am and sometimes 2am. I usually wake 2 to 3 times in my sleep cycle. I have to be up within the hour of 7am to be to work at 8am. I don't eat on my lunch break or snack on my lunch break because I get sluggish. So I am able to remain robust and energetic if I don't eat. So all in all about 5 to 6 hours of sleep for me is enough. Jeepers, Creepers, whats wrong with my peepers. Strangely.......I don't know.

I get anywhere from 4 to 6 hours of sleep a night. I wish I could get at least 7. I also wish I could have uninterrupted sleep but I keep waking up for some reason and can't go back to sleep right away. I must be getting old. I seem to be tired all the time also.
