Ok everyone truth time. What would make this valentines day better than every other? What would you like to do this year that you haven't ever done? How can you or your partner make this a valentines day you will never forget?

My ideal valentines day would be spent making sure my partner knew he was special and my one and only!! I would have a candle lit dinner for him when he got home. Followed by a nice hot bubble bath for two. A nice sensual oil massage paying special attention to my favorite parts. Followed by the best sex trying new things that we have not done yet. Got to make it exciting. Got to make him want more and more!!!!!

Valentines day has been since my high school sweet heart a bad day in history. Even when I was married, not to my sweet heart, to someone I felt I would spend the rest of my life with, this day has always shown me its ugly side because no matter what happen something or someone alway went wrong. Excuse me for being bitter towards this day.
How ever if I had someone to spend it with and something bad didn't happen like I've always come to expect I would have to go with this.
Waking up to that special someone next to me would bring a smile to my face. I would get out of bed and cook breakfast, bring it to her with roses by her bed side. I would do all the clean up after to let her know that I'm thinking about her day. After that I would draw her a nice warm bubble bath so she could relax. Of course the love making would come about but thats beyond my thoughts. I would just do everything to make her feel special all day long. I would be happy with that because I am not greedy. I'm sure she would have her ways of making it the best for me as well. Just being with her and seeing her happy would be sufficient.

Thou I never use massage oil and in addition to what gatorgirl says I would also have soft music playing in the background, greet the lady at the door with a glass of wine and carry her to the bed room while I draw the bubble bath for her and later have a nice candlelight dinner followed by the massage. But thats me and unfortunely I have yet to find that special lady to lavish this on........

My perfect Valentines day would be a romantic dinner at a sidewalk cafe, followed by a night at the theatre. Following the play we would take a moonlight stroll around lake Eola holding hands and of course kissing under the stars. When we return home we open a bottle of wine and cuddle on the couch. Soon cuddling ignites deeper desires and we spend the remainder night making love till the light of dawn. When sleep comes at last we fall asleep wrapped in each others arms, happy and blissful.

My Valentine's Day this year was great. I just got out of a long-term relationship very recently, and my best friend and I decided that we would be each other's valentines. So we exchanged gifts, and it was a lot of fun. I got her some things she wanted, and candy and a rose, and she got me a bouquet of daisies - my favorite flower - and candy and a big balloon that plays music, which was really silly but cute.
Then for the evening, I went out to dinner with my mother, who wanted to take me out for Valentine's Day.
So, over all, even though I did not have a date, it was a nice time, and my best friend and I decided we want to do this every year because we had so much fun looking for little gifts for each other.

was just reading this thread and was excited at the responses of some that spoke of the things they would do for their mate/partner...i know even for myself...i'm always thinking of answering questions like that from the perspective of how i'd like to be treated and not some much how i'd treat the other person...made me re-think my perspective
the REALLY cool thing for me this year is that my partner and i treat each other like it was valentine's day or christmas everyday...so even just us getting a cup of coffee at the book store and looking at books together was a VERY nice evening
