I hear that this season is to be the worst we seen. Any one heard that? I got two large trees on my house during Jeanne and would rather not have to go through that again.

Hi gang. I have loved in Fl. since the 60's and recall the weather being very different back then. I was here through Hurricane Donna, and several others. The weather really seems more to be changing "back" rather than reverting to something new. your thoughts?

I heard the same thing about this season. They were saying they don't think the Tampa area is going to be so lucky this time. I have heard that for the last 16 years but who knows. At least they seem to be better tracking them now.

There seems to be a whole lot of Florida people on here, maybe we should plan a pre-hurricane season party in the Orlando area for us all to meet

Yes, a bunch of internet junkies partying hard. But at least they are partying in real life. You will know those with the fake pics (if they will be stupid enough to show up) and those who are not anything like they claim to be. And who knows, if someone is really serious on meeting someone on here, they might be lucky.

I have met a lot of people from online, and fake pics are not a problem. The problem is good pics.

Almost everyone uses their best pics, the ones that make them look just a little younger and just a little slimmer. This guarantees that everyone you meet is going to feel disappointed and/or deceived.

A good rule of thumb is: Add 5 years and 50 pounds to their picture. And that's the people who are NOT trying to deceive you.
