How far would you go? Would you move back up north?
I would never go up north, I just can't take the cold, but I guess I'd go a little further north, maybe somewhere in the deep south or southwest, if it was the right one. It's hard to say. It would have to be a long time coming, and long distance relationships are difficult, so if we could make it through that period, I guess maybe I would.

I pretty much feel the same way. For the right person I would do what it takes... although being cold really sucks.

I want to leave Florida, been here 99% of my life and have had enough. I want 4 seasons. So I would leave florida in a heart beat for a man or a job. Florida sucks.

Yeah,,,but being Hot during all 4 seasons, doesn't replace the cold season snuggling up to someone to stay warm Greystone. I'd leave, lol , for that.

Jfreak68 the man must have not been the one for you if you came back to FL. I am tied of the Hurricanes, the snobs, the traffic jams during season and the snow birds being oblivious to the working people that make their city work. What would they do if everyone refused to work during season. Hummmm..... maybe we should do a strike. LOL

I've only been here in Florida for a year and a half, but I've found that it's possible (and every bit as enjoyable) to snuggle in warm weather.

I would in a heartbeat! If we made it through the really rough LDR part of the relationship, I would move anywhere to be happy. I have been here for 16 years and believe it or not miss the snow at times! Would love to see seasons again too!

My God Christian326 ,.. lighten up dude, no need to slay the poor girl... you are an alarmist aren't you? You are probably the guy who calls the cops when someone is the neighborhood tosses a party, or plays music really loud. I been through like 8 hurricanes and they aint that bad dude .. really....if people use common sense and leave when they get the weather alert warning and know well in advance it's coming .. HELLO there would not be too many problems now would there. Everything else is covered by homeowners insurance ... and most people already know that if you move to Florida .. HELLO, there are hurricanes here, so if you don't wanna deal with the weather ... HELLO, don't move here.
Are you on Meds dude? Probably ... but try a old industry favorite .. VALIUM!!!! Should they be out,.. go directly to the Thorizine.

Yep a lot of people lost alot in New Orleans, but when you move to a city that is below sea level you take your chances, if you knew the first thing about hurricanes you would not be sitting here putting your foot in your mouth, once a hurricane hits land it weakens, and I don't know where you learned what hurricane are, but it is rain and wind, until you actually live through one, keep your opinion to yourself. there is bad weather all over the world in one form or another, but to sit around and worry about it is senseless, one must respect the power of mother nature, not fear it as far as your comment about southerners being lazy, dude you really do need your head check.

IF I would decide to leave Florida for that "right person" I would first vist her a few times and get to know the area I would be moving to first before deciding IF I want to uproot and move there, (job market, living arrangements etc). Plus I would take a good look at the weather and other factors as well. I.E California has those brush and forest fires as well as land slides and earthquakes on occasion, Up north in Ohio, Wiscounsin and Maine you got the cold weather to deal with and Mississippi and New Orleans has flooding to deal with. So, IF all those factors are ones you can live with and/or deal with then that would factor into my choice to move or not. Now I am not knocking those states mentioned but using them as examples when I would make a choice of moving for that 'right person' or not or ask that person to move down here with me.
