Posts: 11 I keep hearing women say that they get several emails and winks a day but can never find a decent man.I get maybe 3 or 4 visits to my profile,from who I have no idea,but maybe a wink or an email twice a month usually only after I send one first.Ladies,Men stand in line to get to you or to buy you a drink or nearly wreck their cars looking at you in traffic.The control and choices are all in your hands.Don't complain.Sometimes it seems like a curse to be a man then a benefit.

You have a lot of good attributes, why can't you see that?

Trust me, no one has ever wrecked his car looking at ME in traffic! LOL

YOU get e-mails and/or winks??? Smeg!! Wish I could complain about getting winks and/or e-mails! I send out numerous e-mails and winks to ladies that pass my check list and normally get nothing back. Of those I do get a response to I set up a 'chat date' to talk and to get to know each other better before setting up a face to face date (IF local) but, also to date, I been stood up on the 'chat dates' too. Beginning to think that people are only checking out my profile is when I make a post in the FLORIDA forum to see what type of guy I am and why I made a post in the first place. Maybe someday I'll go gold to see all the people who looked at my profile.

Posts: 91 What this thread posts is an age old complaint of dating in general, whether it be online or offline...men say oh...dating sucks...women have all the control...

well because there are still MANY out there who live in the ice age of thinking there is still VERY much a double standard and a woman who makes the first move is somehow viewed as easy or a slut or psycho...so many women are not assertive...

so keep that in mind as you men complain...lol..cuz the women on the other end think the same way...men have all the control - so we both sit on opposite walls at the dance looking longlingly across to the other wall/sex each afraid to be assertive, step out of our comfort zones, and DO something about it.

just because you are on a dating website...doesn't make it as easy as shooting fish in a barrel...ANY relationship is going to take effort and hard work...
