or have you ever gone to one of those online sites where you can expose players-liars etc ? Just curious as I saw something posted somewhere about a don't date him girl website and I know they have similar sites for the men too so wondered if people actually used them to check out a prospective date or to post the scoop on somebody who wasn't what they portrayed themselves to be. Seems like it could be a good resource but ya gotta wonder how much of it is actual truth or someone just being vindictive.

For myself, I would love to find a site like that. I think that even if someone was being vindictive, there is always a thread of truth. Besides, I would like to believe that most people are bright enough to sort through the lies and find the truth. I myself have met and dated a number of what you would call "real players". I'm not vindictive but would like to save some other woman the grief of finding out on her own. Let me know if anyone finds a site like that. It would be a fabulous resource!

I think the site you two are talking about is: "dontdatethisguy" dot com and/or "dontdatethisgirl" dot com. Of course I have seen the dont date guy site on CNN a few weeks ago but not sure about the dont date girl site.

i have never seen the web site that your talking about and ill be the first to say..when people believe what some one saids about some one until they get to know them there self ..i think its not fair to the guy... i see some of you trying to black ball mrperfecttt but im not going let that get me down if some one wants to believe all the lies then thats up to them..when they could get to know the guy for there self and then judge them because many times when you break up with some one ..some one is mad and when you mad you say hateful things about some one..now if a guy is a player or if a woman is ..then maybe that would be different ..and for the record ..mr perfecttt is no player..

I looked at it too witchie last night... it was on the news that somebody spilled all about a not so nice guy who happens to be a lawyer and he (the lawyer) filed some type of suit against the site and or the woman I'm not sure. It is interesting to read all the stuff there and even gives all known screennames or usernames from dating sites and IM sites as well as the guys real name and age, town he lives in what type of work he does etc in alot of cases. I bet that has put a cramp on some of the real players out there if they got wind of it! I thought it was good for a few giggles myself...just wondering if I should print out some of the bios and pics and post on the wall like they do at the post office just to be on the safe side

JMW I am familiar with the site you are talking about and have had a peek. We have sites that let us know when there is a sexual predator living near you, and there are sites that alert people to dangerous dogs lving close to home. So a site like this is not such a bad thing. However there is always a risk that you may be hearing only half of the truth. I do know that among them there are men that are deserving of this kind of expose. A friend of mine met a man through the net and she went on that site when she started picking up bad vibes in their relationship and lo and behold she found more then one lady had posted their warning about him. He had a pattern of abusing women and a criminal history as well.

Sites like that one are good as long as they are taken with a grain of salt...my attitude about them is that, yes, there's going to be that vindictive man/woman out there who is going to try and blackball someone...BUT there is also the saying "if it looks like a dog, smells like a dog, and sounds like a dog...it probably is a good bet it is a dog"...with that said, if there are multile warnings about the same person, surely they are not ALL vindictive neurotic men/women...right?
I also think, though, that some people just bring out the worst in each other. With one person, a man or woman can be completely off their rocker and a neurotic psycho stalker, and then with everyone else be completely sane...it was just that those two people weren't a good match and shouldn't have been together...but the end turns into a power trip for who gets to have the last word...
Sites like this are just a forum for feedback...much like taking into account your friends opinions...for my job i see the worst in people everyday but refuse to be jaded...but it's starting to get to the point that a person needs to ask for driver's license and social security number of someone to check them out through FDLE before allowing them to know where we live these days...
someone who isn't a player and has nothing to hide will oblige the background check....

hello he sure aint my ex, would never give that man the time or day!!! this is why he says all the negitive stuff about me, but you know what, ask me if i care, the people that really know me know it i am not a bad person.. as for a site like that, may not be truthful, look at how mr not perfect is, anyone can make up lies and say whatever they want, can't believe anything anymore these days. you just have to take a chance, watch for signs and be careful. a not so good person will let their true selves been seen, you just have to know what to look for.

Like I told you befor JF, he isn't worth worrying about. You are you and that is all that matters. Does it really matter what the moron thinks or has to say? You know you are a good person, so what difference does it make what he thinks? Those of us who know you, don't care what his comments are and he just proves over and over again, that he isn't worth the time of day.
Just be a duck 
Let it roll off of you like water does on a ducks back. The more you go after him, the more he will keep it up. If we all ignore his rude comments, he will get bored with not being the center of attention.

You know what, thais is what I am going to do, I will no longer partake in his abuse, he can say all he wants about me, and everyone is seeing him for who he is, I am not going to sweat him anymore. Just glad people aren't believing his BS.....
