I am new to this website. Actually, very new. Today is my first day. I am not exactly sure how all of this works and I dont pretend to. I have read some of the Georgia Forums and I am shocked at the lack of respect Georgians have for each other. I am well aware that no one is the same and people will differ in their opinions, but all of this name calling and arguing in uncalled for.
I have read views on the confederate battle flag, Georgia men, others' issues with posts, and so on and so forth. I remain neutral on all of those topics because I feel there are bigger issues that I should worry about than that, but it just baffles me that educated adults act like children when it comes to taboo issues. "No, I am right. No, I am. No, me." Someone's onpinion is just that, an opinion. I cannot be right or wrong. Only facts can be right or wrong.
I am not perfect by any means and neither is anyone else and I think we can all stand to learn a few things from these past postings. Everyone will take a different lesson and path from each post, but we all will learn something.
My question to you is...Can't we all just get along and agree to disagree?

I did not imply you were trying to start anything. That is just one of many threads regarding "can't we all just get along"? Obviously, the answer is "no" since new threads pop up with that subject.

I did and you are right women can be that way too. But my Mr. Maybe turned out to be a Mr. Dud. He acts like I don't exist anymore. So it goes.

I met my wife here. I have lived in Georgia all my life and began my search here. After a year I began to look all over the USA. After a year of that I moved into the world scene. After a year of that I gave up, again, at least with the cyber search. Then she wrote me out of nowhere and the rest is history. It took a year and a half on MD but 3 and one half years online to find someone that was real and honest, which was my main features that I was hoping to find.
Now we are just learning to adjust to one another.
