I thought I would start a new thread for people to post information who are now in Rome, GA or the surrounding Floyd County area.
My name is Joy, age 56, divorced, white, Christian female in Rome, GA. A year ago, I lost my only child. That is something no parent should ever have to experience. Divorce pales to the grief of losing a child. I also went through a divorce, lost a car, a home, and everything in it. I had no insurance to cover any of those losses. Going through so much stress in the last few years has been very difficult.
I am looking for new straight penpals. Read my profile and blog by clicking on them, and if you feel we have enough interests to form a friendship, then write me. I will write you as often as you write me. I enjoy typing long emails, but no forwards, please. I am an empathic sensitive, artist, writer, cook, webpage creator, recipe creator, and romantic. I like comedies and easy listening music. The inner person is more important to me than the exterior. Beauty fades as we get older, but the Soul and Spirit are eternal. I live by the Golden Rule and want to be treated the same. Clear communication is very important to me.
Since I am on MSNTV2 and not a computer, I cannot post a pic, but I will be happy to exchange pics if you and I become friends. I graduated from Armuchee in 1967. I also attended Pepperell in the mid 60s.
