I don't mean to sound snide, but I've noticed that people on this site tend to be younger than 42 (perhaps 45) and they are seeking people their age or younger.
Yes, this is a generalization, but it seems fairly valid from what I've seen on this site.
Anyway, that's likely why those of you over 50 aren't having much luck meeting people in your area from the site.
I've noticed sites online that are especially oriented for folks over 50. Perhaps you'd meet more people on one of those sites.

Some of you were complaining about not being able to meet or talk with people on this site.
I noted that many of those complainers on this thread and other threads are over 50. (Yes, I also admitted that this was a generalization, but a rather valid one)
I went on to point out that many people here are under 45 and seek people their age or younger. (Also another valid generalization)
I then made the suggestion that you might have better luck meeting people at a site that are designed for people over 50.
I wasn't being mean, snide, or even rude. These threads are places to communicate, exchange ideas, and help one another.
So I was doing exactly those things.
If you can't understand that or if you get offended at such an unoffensive post, then YES, YOU ARE IN THE WRONG PLACE.
So quit complaining...........

I personally would say that I believe this sight is designed for all age groups. Ensaged is entitled to an opinion or "generalization" as it was put. Myself, am not offended by the use of this site by young or older users. However from what I understand, some had taken offence to a simple fact based comment. To those people i say "Pull your pants back up". You read a simple commentary and from that you derrived it was directed straight at you. Get over yourself!
