Posts: 1 Have family that live in Hawaii. Pack light and get a bus pass ! What ever you have planned cut it in 1/2 . You will spend more time enjoying the Island.

Posts: 1 Aloha Kaua, What you hike in hike out. Take what you take and leave what you leave our Kupuna would say. So those two for now.

Don't leave anything at the beach or anywhere else even when you smoke. "no butts on the beach" our beaches are not your ash tray. Also we want to see the ice box which is our ocean to be full of life. So we take only what we need for ourselves or family, and leave the rest for the next guy. As well we think to preserve and perpetuate for generations coming behind us. So enjoy all the Islands and the culture here and malama as we say take care when your here.

Posts: 3 If moving to Hawaii (Oahu) don't plan on buying anything! You can find free TV's Desks and tons of furniture on the street or on CraigsList. I planned a big budget when I first moved here and ended up saving tons of money because I got most of my stuff for free, save your money for rent though cause it's double that of most places on the mainland.
