I arrived on Maui almost 18 years ago (nov. 11th, 1991) - Of course, then Maui was so laid back and I was 18 years younger (32 years old), young, pretty and it came so easy for me to meet people. Not necessarily the men that would give me a strong relationship but I probably did not need one then. My lifestyle was different then as well. Now, at 50 I have a good job but find it so difficult to meet people - I still look good and have the spirit of 20 something (lol). The only people I meet online are either SCAMMERS or don't come through ....and when they do, they are not necessarily what my heart desires..... or they think that because I have a pretty face, I will give What's up with that ? I am basically stuck on this beautiful piece of paradise, left alone and nobody to share my free time with.... - I am not playing "poor me" here but I am feeling left out as I never felt this way before.... Maybe I need to move where there is more "action" ? Or learn to live this way ? Tell me what you think - Give me some suggestions if you feel like it.

Wow you have a TOUGH TOUGH dilemma! From what I know about you, you seem to be very honest and do want a relationship. So, what I would have to advise is you to do is ask yourself, "Have I tried everything I can do in Maui? Are there singles groups out there? Are there other websites that I can try? and lastly Am I willing to move where there is more action?
Unfortunately, dating is like a business. One has to market oneself to the RIGHT buyer!!

Ahah.... It is a business eh Montel ?? Maybe I should market myself on Ebay ? I would like to see what kind of guy would buy me (lol) - How is your love life by the way ? eheh..... It is true though about meeting the right guys here because they all come to beautiful Maui to escape something from the Mainland, because you know if they had a serious career, they would not think about moving to where there is nothing to do... besides hide from the past. Just think about it. Those who move here and can pursue their career in Hawaii are those who are very successful and guess what ? They likely have a wife eheh ... Do you think that the woman will let go of that one ??? Better not because he usually comes with a beautiful home and swimming-pool.... Take Care

LOL... Hey, I'm a guy on the big island and I feel a lot of what you say on a personal level... I've been single for 8 years now. Women like me enough. I just haven't met someone I want to stay with all the time. The 'pickings' are slim here. And, all the ones I see and wish I could get a 'closer assessment' of are already taken... I look at it all this way, through my experience.. love or anything that resembles it, relationships, etc... they come to our lives more the way a traffic accident does than through any kind of hunting trip.. :)
