Im not taking any sides on women are right and guys are wrong whatever, Anywhere you go there will be such rude people as in Male and Female forms like it or not thats what we all face now days. Look around, Seriously Why do women and guys act like they do? ever thougth about it? Maybe one time they where that nice decent person but also got tired of been screwed over by whom ever, Im not taking sides and I am a decent guy I dont care what anyone thinks about me over this comment, But Its not about looks, Sex whatever its supposed to be about true love not lust, Sex and Love To me so far is sooooo overrated! Lady's its not just men who screw around, and Gentlemen Its not just Lady that screw around! its both You can see it how you want it. But thats the truth,

I am a single white male business professional
and have had lots of great dating experiences (but not with this site)
I can only tell you my experience with with this site....
I find that most people enjoy the privacy and mystery of being on-line (this site)rather actually meeting face-to-face. The fact you can remain anonymous...allows people to stay in their comfort zone...
But the thing I do not understand .... if on a profile it says
something like ....looking for men ages 38-48 (and I am 45)
And if I do send a wink to the woman if she is some what local and her profile is at least intersting --- thinking we might have a grand time
and right away I get dismissed ...saying that I am too old
or they are looking for some one richer....or closer to where they live (the last one lived less then 30 minutes from me)
and while I can respect anyone's decision; does not mean that I understand it
maybe people (me included) ought to figure out exactly what we want
or
here is a suggestion ,,, be open to new ideas...it is a dating site...after all

We are not all married or gay, just maybe tired of looking. I met a nice lady last weeknd, but only called her back out of courtesy on Sunday night. Not sure how come but I really was not turned on by her too much. I like her friend much better. Now how do I go about asking for her phone number when this firdt lady was interested in me???

dancalot you shouldn't have called her back if you wasn't turned on as you said by her now she might get her hopes up you will be calling again and as for her friend well you got two options call the lady back an be honest with her and ask her if she could give your number to her friend and if she is interested in you to call you or you can wait an see if you ever see her again and than ask her.
Glad your not married or gay and if you where really tired of looking why did you go out an meet that lady Sunday  See you just proved to yourself you still want that special someone in your life also, Good Luck on finding her

I saw this discussion while checking a "wink". I don't understand why people still wink on this site when sending a note is free. I try to respond to anyone that winks or sends a note, but a note is going to get a response quicker because I know what to respond to.
Last Gentleman, try sending a note. I think you will get a better response. I was shocked that a person would respond by saying that they want someone with more money! I would definately take the income info off of your profile. I don't think that is anyone's business. I don't immediately tell someone how much I make. Heck, I don't even know how much my best friend of 20 + yrs makes or my siblings. Ridiculous. In regards to a response saying that you were too old - it could have been just a response grabbed out of a hat to decline....why we can't just say -not interested, no reason I don't know.
I would have to agree with badboy that people in our close area tend to be a mirror of ourselves, but not absolutely. You need to go to new places, and try something new....although I tend to be shy about speaking to new people in person.....but if we could be brave enough, we could meet wonderful people.
