That's true...

If you don't love yourself, you are going to have a hard time loving anyone. You have to be happy with who you are, that starts on the inside. No one can change you from the outside, and to depend on someone to do that is a recipe for disaster.

I'd have to say both. Let's be realistic, it takes money to not only have things. You need it to survive. I don't base talking to or meeting someone based on what they show in their profile as their income because we can all lie about that so I don't look at that as a high priority. However, if the person is living in a cardboard box under Wacker drive, I really don't think I want to date him.

I work 12 , 14 hour shift's 6 day's a week , I have alway's taken care of myself money is simply an object we need for simple pleasure's and survival in life .

Now Love is something that is priceless , and if we are fortunate enough to have been loved in this lifetime we have lived.

both:

enough $ to live comfortably; bills paid each month and some stashed for annual vacations; as well as the inevitable doc visits along with car repairs, etc; anything that breaks down. And enough to be able to go out at least once a week with the one your with...catch up on eachother and have some good old fashioned fun.

love, definitely, makes the world go round.

Is it really fair to have to choose? I mean i don't care if my b/f's are rich that's not how i choose love but i don't wanna have to pay for the things they want. I do like money i need it to buy me what i want and need. But if the question is more of a are you dating someone because you love them or because they're rich i would have to say i choose Love.

What about companionship? There's an old saying
The first time you get married its for love. The second time its for money. The third time its for companionship.
After that you should have it right and marry for all three.

Ratking are you on crack??lol Pretty interesting outburst there...lol
Money can't buy you love or happiness....I don't have much use for a boat load of money..Just as long as I have a roof over my head, heat, water , food and gas for my car it's all good! lol Give me love anyday!

Rather be loved, and work together to deal with money issues. Even have a poem that expresses my feeling on that issue... Sadly have dealt with a man who thought more about money than he did his heart.

"Money"
Paper of green ink replaces the green color of my eyes in your heart.
Starting to see that you think more of money than you do me.
Seeking riches rather than love to carry you to the other side.
You’re a fool to think that money is happiness, when warmth of arms holding you is greater.
Fate has handed you another chance to love, but you rather die inside.
Beside you at night is coldness, yet you ignore a need.
Beginnings to end you forget money can’t be taken beyond the gates of life.
Life without sharing with another is a lonely existence.
Rather leave this world myself with God’s treasures of love showing him what I have earned.
Learned through my life here that there is nothing that compares to being loved without restrictions.
Dictating your minds worth man’s money is so sad; I am beginning to pity you.
You have been offered so much more, yet you hang onto the idea money makes you a big man.
Standing here without money I am nothing to you, yet in God’s eyes I am a gift.
Lifting my prayers to the heavens, I keep praying you will see love is worth so much more.
While you seek your riches of the poorest kind, I will be found, and my heart claimed by another.
Another will find his nights are filled with warmth that he is second to none other than to God.
Laughter, and happiness will fill the air around him enfolding him until he is called home.

Sure it would be nice to have enough money to live comfortably from pay to pay but what good is a lot of money anyway if you don't have love? So naturally love is the answer to the question.

LOVE, I just had to break up with a wonderful woman who wanted me to take her downtown all the time to the Drake, or other fancy places, take her to Brazil, ETC. My bills are paid, I have a "nest egg" for emergencies, and a few bucks to splurge with. Why can't that satisfy the woman out there?
