Lucky- I thought you had one all lined up and taken at the campout! As far as where we guys "hide" at? I am speaking for myself when I say that I am usually at work, except on Sundays when I go to church. I do have evenings free, usually. In the winter is when I get more time off. So I guess you ladies will just have to search harder and looker more dilligently. Good luck to all, and Lucky, hope to see you again in Sept. at the campout.

K - I understand what you are saying, but why should we have to search for you guys? If chilvary is not dead for you nice guys, shouldn't it be you searching for us?
I know I am tired of making the first move and most times getting shot down. Gets depressing.

I know what you mean about not being approached. A man was complaining in church this past Sunday, "I can't seem to find a good woman". Well, well, there I stood, same age as he is, in all my singleness, feeling like the most undesirable woman on earth  Kinda like the feeling of not being picked for the dodge ball team in school.
Oh well, if and when God wants me to have a significant other in my life (for longer than a month.....  ) hopefully He'll NOT be subtle about it....maybe this would work--->

Really Manish, it's not an illusion. I saw a good guy in Indiana once.  
Perhaps Kfarmer is the last of his breed, the good hard-working man that you would have to go out in the field to find, unless he lit in the pew next to you on Sunday. All the farmers in my church are married or a bit too old for me though....
That 40-something at Tamak's church is going to get kicked in the shin for treating my friend like chopped liver though. I have found out in the dating world that the men from all states, Indiana included, like to go after women that are 10-20 years younger than themselves. Hmmmm, explain that phenomenon.

hey I inviited two single men to my home for a cook out with friends here from out of state one went MIA the other one said nope He just wants to phuck not be a friend  so IF there are I ain't found them either

Rosie- No chivalry isn't dead, I DO look for a good woman. As a matter of fact I met two at the campout, however I couldn't stay for the weekend and BOTH of them were quickly snatched up!
Soupi- I am one of a dying breed, that is a sad commentary on our society!

S'ok Manish...I use the traditional hormonal excuse for women over 40 who have borne children...the meds excuse works perfectly fine for adult males.  
KFarm, you may be from the last generation of gentleman farmers, and perhaps it is a sad commentary on society (please reference other threads noting women's penchant for "bad boys"). You sir, have my respect though, for proudly living that vocation and that lifestyle. Very commendable, I believe.  
And sister lisa, you can preach on about men wanting the activity that rhymes with truck, but not wanting to be a friend along with it. My short run through the dating world, one whole year now, has led me to this conclusion, see what you think:

Awwww.....Kfarmer,  thanks, you are such a sweetheart. I'm sure if you'd stayed for the whole weekend, you would've I counted AT LEAST 28 great women at the May campout 
Dear Abby suggests meeting "good men" where you attend church. I have attended 2 churches in the past 9 years (since my divorce) and have found that the single women outnumber the single men by about 10:1 at all age levels. So Abby, what do you suggest since I REALLY think God frowns on gang bangs 
Lisa, I've gotten the same proposition...my question to them is... if I wouldn't sleep with you while we were dating, what makes you think I'm going to now that we're "just friends"  Keep dreamin' buddy
