What would you think if you met someone on here, have been exchanging emails for a while (during the day only), but this person refuses to talk to you on the phone? The reason they give is they want to go slow. But how slow is too slow?
Here are the reasons that have gone through my head - which one would you choose?
a) Married
b) Live in companion
c) Underage
d) Shy
If there is another reason(s) you can list, by all means, do so.
And how would you handle this situation?

I'd say its a, or b. Depending on what the emails are like, as to whether its c or d.
I'd be concerned, and ask lots of questions, but it screams MARRIED.

MARRIED and probably will evetually tell ya, I am in an unhappy marriage but cant leave her because she has a terminal illness, kids or she would take all of his money. They just want and need S*X.

Depending on what the emails are like, as to whether its c or d.
Well, the emails have been informative, flirtatious, funny and frequent. He also comes off as sounding sincere, but Luvvy, as you and I have talked, people can say whatever they want on the internet.
I was thinking either married or living with someone, but not going to draw any conclusions right now. Just going to see what happens.
Let me ask you something else - how long should I let the email chat go on before telling him we need to move to the next step (talking on the phone). I mean I have asked him to talk on the phone, but wasn't aggressive about it and now I feel like the email thing is going no where. Do you know what I mean?

I feel like the email thing is going no where. Do you know what I mean? Yes, I know what you mean. Get aggressive and tell him its time for the phone, and you are only available to talk in the evenings. That should draw him out, if he is married/living with someone.
You should always listen to that little voice...

Well, just to update everyone, I haven't heard word one from him. So, either he has fallen off the face of the earth or his wife/girlfriend caught him.
Why can't these guys just be honest? Why the games?
And people wonder why I am so cynical about finding someone.

Rosie- write him off- if he is causing you THIS MUCH GRIEF NOW, what will the future bring?  As for hunting Luvs-you better not get caught "hunting" in the state park LOL Now if you want I can bring a SHORT rope if you can find a TALL tree.

Hey, could I get a little help, too? I started chatting w/someone here, too. Initially, I thought he was a nice guy and still could be based on the chats & emails... Our chat time has been brief and interrupted due to phone calls, etc on my end, so I asked him to send me an email telling me more about him. I looks scripted - pretty much repeating much of what is in his profile. Well, now I am thinking it could be a scam....get me hooked, & then whatever...prob ask for money. It is starting to sound familiar and can't quite remember....
Anyway, I wasn't back on this darn site for a mate......
