This thread is only for ideas and suggestions for the 2009 campout. They are two other thread if you want to say warm and cuddlely things to each other. So any if you have any ideas or suggestions please feel free and write things down on this thread so we have at least something to remember them by.

Renting 2 golf carts for easy transportation for the people back to their cabins or to the bathrooms late at night. It would also be use for going to the store if we need more ice and things like that.
Maybe getting some more activies going for people.
Have time for eating. Like 8-10 for breakfast 1-3 for lunch and 6-8 for dinner. Make lunch like a build your own subs so it give some more time cooking dinner. Which the food was great this year. Make breakfast on Sunday and Monday fruit and cereal so they is not a lot of preperation.
Bring coffee tins and use them as ashtrays so we do not have to pick up the butts when we leave.
Label the coolers for easy findings of what you are looking for
2 more tents for more cooking storing and room for people to get out of the rain.
Start packing the night before we leave so we do not have to hurry the next day because check is 11.
Maybe have prizes for certain things or games.
Maybe have a scavenger hunt

Well the ideas I have are all related to my supply committee, but this might be a good place to get them recorded. Paper towels in teh bathroom should be situated so that they don't all get wet when teh first person gets one...such as the folded ones, so the next one pops up when one takes one out....like a kleenex box
Also, large pump type bottles of antibacterial soap in teh bathrooms so the bars of soap doin't sit there getting wet, and the counter top getting all messy.
Way back when, our family used to host a hog roast with over 100 guests. I had a plastic box with separations for the plastic ware..so that knives, forks and spoons weren't just dumped together. That bin stayed on one end of the table the whole weekend, and everyone knew where it was.

more water hoses so we can get water directly to the cooking area
multi outlet extensions or power strips for music, microwaves,and coffee pots.
check into renting a couple of porta poties, put them close to the cabins. not such a long walk at night.
more trash cans placed around the area, people that are driving and have room to bring one or two could do this.
need to see if they have rv hook ups, i didn't think to ask before we left, but i did notice something sticking up out of that field that may have been. RV's thou will have to pay their own space.

RV are not welcome at that site but it is a good idea. You would have to go down the road about a half mile to do the hole RV thing

I thought the porta potties were kind of scary looking.......I could just see me falling off ...legs sprawled out and the tent falling.....  Nightmare...

Spring, I think he is talking about the building kind of port a potties, not the tent ones.
Rose is sharing the Music and Entertainment committee with me and I have been put in charge of making the labels for the coolers and containers so everyone will know where everything is at.

I think he was talking about the bigger heavier porta potties Spring but from listening to the owner when we met with her I really don't think she would agree to us bringing them in.

Just remember, this is a wedding gathering too. Luvs and her future husband will have top priority,,,
What they want for their wedding reception, and all of that.
Did anyone get pictures of the 'stage" and the area around the "game room"?

katt, I don't think so but I'll bet that tamak would run over and take a few if we asked her. She only lives about 8 or 9 miles away from the campgrounds.

I posted this in the other thread....
I'm a good administrator. I could handle reservations, cabin assignments, supply lists, budgets...that sort of stuff.
And, if I could be so bold, would like to nominate Graywolf as HeadHoncho of this here shindig. He is a good organizer, can get things done, is good at delegating and is on Retired Standard Time.
